Amazing place, very clean and spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped (the only thing you don't have is an oven), the bathrooms are clean and modern. There is a very nice lounge area with games, TV, sofa, fireplace as well as extra table and chairs. The rooms are nice and big with comfy mattresses. The sheets and towels are pristine and smell fresh and clean. Finally, the lady is just amazing. We parked our car at a wrong spot (in a steep slop with a fence right in front) and couldn't get it out ourselves, so she called the firemen to help. My partner got sick and was in pain, and we ran out of medication on the Sunday, and she brought some for us right away. She was always very responsive and happy to help with any inquiries. We've been in Portugal for a month now and have been to many beautiful places with lots of very good hosts and this is my favourite place so far! The location is also very convenient with a beautiful river beach not even 800m away, some nice hikes and restaurant around 👍💯

Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

Friendly and attentive staff. The entire hotel is clean, in good condition and well maintained. Good location for exploring the rest of Serra de Estrela as it saves you at least an hour’s worth of travel every day compared to towns in the valley. Restaurant has a large enough menu to try something different every evening and all is delicious. On a rainy day I just relaxed in the spa (sauna and small swimming pool)
