I decided on this hotel, mainly based on previous reviews and they certainly didn’t disappoint! I did a lot of research on previous reviews for several hotels and whilst there are hotels with better facilities, this hotels ratings on 3 particular aspects impressed me, these were: • It’s quieter location, just outside of the main Albufeira area, which can be quite busy and loud at night, but we preferred a quieter location, so this fitted the bill for us • The 2nd reason was the ratings that the staff received, they were nothing short of exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and reception is manned 24/7, so there is always someone available, even when we checked out at 5am. The staff are an absolute credit to this place • The 3rd reason were the breakfast reviews, again an outstanding breakfast offering with a buffet style breakfast, including ‘full English’ options, a huge continental breakfast selection of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed OJ, huge selection of breads, GF options, cereals, yoghurts, fresh honey (actually dripping from a honeycomb into a pot), huge selection of fresh pastries (custard tarts, mini croissants, pancakes, pain au choc, pecan slice. *Some options above are rotated daily, to mix up the selection, ie: the cooked breakfast will rotate between mushrooms, tomatoes or quiche, but constant selection is scrambled egg, sausages, bacon, baked beans and boiled eggs. Same with the pastry and cheeses selections Finally, the breakfast clearing staff are simply outstanding, the clearing of tables is literally constant, I’ve rarely witnessed such attentive staff at breakfast and no sooner are you finished with a plate, cup or glass and it is gone, empty tables cleared very quickly. It also has an outstanding outside breakfast terrace, which although it can be a bit windy, in the summer heat, this is most welcome, we sat outside every single day

The room was big enough with a king size bed, it was really confortable with much light and a balcony where to sit in the morning. The bathroom was also a really big one. The pool is also nice to relax a bit. We bought a boat trip to Benagil caves and Paulo the owner booked it at the boat company. He was really friendly with his wife Maria. I mentioned him that it's the birthday of my boyfriend and he surprised even me when we were returning in the room one of the evenings and there was a bottle of wine in ice with 2 glasses. It was a really nice gesture from his side. Thank you Paulo once again for everything! We would for sure return to you if we come again in Portugal 😊
