It’s exactly as expected, even more!! Of course the windmill is very picturesque himself, but the view it’s amazing, and the host is the absolute best! Always available and ready to help! When you think of such a location, you’d think of driving in a stone path without lights : they have indeed a very comfortable path and you can reach it by car and park almost in front of your mill. The windmill is very clean and every detail is promptly selected to match the whole setting of the country style. In your windmill, you’ll find everything you need in order to prepare a breakfast to enjoy on the back of the windmill, enjoying the valley, wind and sunrise. We were sad because we just stayed 2 nights!! Highly suggested ✨

The apartment is modern and clean. The couch and sofa are quite big and comfortable. Access to tea, coffee, and a fridge was nice for us, and the staff were very helpful, communicative, and accessible. For the price we paid, we were very happy!

The hotel is located in a fabulous location - by the river with a view of the mountains. The hotel rooms were classic, the same as in most other places, but the greatest value of the rooms is that they have their own balconies where you can enjoy wine and the sounds of nature and the river in the evening. Very delicious food in the restaurant, large portions. We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. I would definitely like to come back here someday.

This is one of the best guest houses I have ever visited! The rooms were really stylish with big and comfy beds, the kitchen had every sort of tool you need to prepare a tasty dinner, the terrace had a wonderful view. The house is situated in a really peaceful region in the hills and it is certainly one of those places where you can take a glass of wine, watch the sunset and take some time for yourself. I would definitely visit it again! Obrigado!

Home from home. The owner lives on site and it was just a lovely welcome. Fresh baked cake was waiting for us, fruit from their garden, a homemade liquor.. and many other touches. Very secured, with locked Gate. Gorgeous garden, we didnt use the pool (its Feb after all), gorgeous view. For dinner we headed about 15mins drive to : Churrescaira: roasted chicken @ As Medas; google states they open at 7pm but they were opened at 6.30pm Restaurante D. Dinis just further along (5mins drive from As Medas). We went on Valentine's day (forgot); restaurants were fully booked but they took as in which was lovely.of them. amazing food, very reasonable. For breakfast/ snack and coffee we headed into Beirao de Gema. lovely staff and very helpful.

The location was spot on for us, lovely views, easy to find, all facilities around us. Host was brilliant, We had an issue with wifi and he sorted it staright away, checked through text everything was ok for us. great guy.

Great little place. The rooms are very large, well decorated, with a large bathroom and balcony. They provided some nice touches including cookies and coffee. The place is quiet, just in the outskirts of Penacova. There are a few coffee shops nearby, proper restaurants are around 2 Km away. The host was amazing, very friendly, and allowed to store bicycles in the garage downstairs.
