It is a beautiful, well-equipped tiny house with a large, private out-door terrace and a stunning view of the ocean. The house has a private parking and it is easy to reach if you type THEO'S HOUSE (it is the accommodation next to it, across the narrow street) on your google map. The bed is really comfortable, the internet connection is good, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the shower has good water pressure with more then enough hot water for two people (we showered, we washed the dishes and we didn't run out of hot water). You have all the bathroom essentials provided, clean towels, all the plates and pots you need – a really good place for longer stays, too. Yes, maybe the out-door furniture is a bit old, but really everything is functional, you also have access to a washing-machine, you have free bird-tv every morning and night (we really enjoyed watching the birds during our breakfasts outside) and the view is unbeatable – I cannot imagine what more you can ask for the price. The host is a lovely lady and she was very responsive via WhatsApp. Ponta do Pargo is 9 km away, Achadas da Cruz 17 km away (I really recommend taking the cable car there and have a long stroll on the beach, really beautiful place and not that crowded), Porto Moniz, Seixal and Fanal forest are 30-35 km away. If you like to spend your days on the beach, Paul do Mar, Jardim do Mar and Calheta are only 9-10 km away. Prazeres – a quaint, little village is only 4 km away and has some really nice, quiet restaurants and a decent supermarket as well (for a larger one, you can go to Calheta). I would definitely stay here again, it was lovely.

Our first impression was absolutely amazing; the first receptionist we met (blonde girl, I believe her name was Cristina) went the extra mile with us and gave us a free upgrade. She smiled a lot and provided us with an excellent service. She is a great asset to the company. The rest of the staff were also very nice. The check out receptionist (Zita) was also great to us. The room was very spacious with a great view to the ocean. The buffet was amazing, with a lot of food to choose from. We will definitely go back and we will recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location were exceptional, very private, and very quite...

The location were exceptional, very private, and very quite in general. The view was amazing to the ocean. We loved the terrace where we enjoyed the view to the ocean, and during night time the sky full with stars. We were having breakfast on the terrace every day, and we ended our day too gazing the stars. The cleanliness was exceptionally good, and this property is very well equipped. You can cook, barbecue, wash your clothes, iron, swim in the pool ... lots of possibilities. The humidity was a challenge. We found a dehumidifier, but that didn't helped us much, as probably the walls had humidity in them too, so at night time we used the electric radiators to dry our linen and pillows before going to sleep. Wifi password was different, and had to ask the host, but that one have been resolved pretty quickly. Also there are Wifi repeaters, which are using a different network id with different password, but we managed without that too. (If you plan to use the Wifi from the sun terrace, that maybe you will need the password for the repeater too, but the host could probably help you with that too.)

We needed a restful escape and this was the perfect location...

We needed a restful escape and this was the perfect location to wind down and relax. A truly beautiful and tranquil spot with the most amazing views from villa, terrace and pool. A car is essential for getting around. Everything provided for self catering, friendly locals, good bars and cafes nearby, and a lovely marina and supermarket in nearby Calheta.

Good place to cover western / north western part of Madeira...

Good place to cover western / north western part of Madeira island during your holiday, calm village with limited shopping options (grocery by car 10 minutes, good cafe 7 minutes, restaurants in Paul do Mar 10 minutes by car). you need a car to stay mobile here. Beautifull ocen views and sunsets - very relaxing. One house at the top of the village is a modern architecture piece worth to see, visible when comming down to village from rundabout after approx 500 m.

Nice and calm place to explore the west part of the island. If you want to relax and rest this is a nice location but if you prefer a kind of urban area with restaurants and more facilities this is not your place.

The hotel is beautiful, with gorgeous terrace to sit in the sun and enjoy a cup of tea. There is really big common area where you can use chairs, tables, kitchen, pool table and games, swimming pool, sunbeds. View is beautiful. Lovely personnel, tasty brekfast with desserts - homemade cakes, every morning different cake. There is a very good restaurant only 2 minute walk from hotel. That hotel is really great place if you want to relax and have lazy day by the pool. Private parking is available - that is rare in Madeira.

The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices. The swimming pool had a fantastic view. Outside areas were plentiful. The kitcjen facilities were exceelnt. As we were quite far from restauarants we were able to cook meals and eat at the hotel
