This was a short visit to the area to enable our 9-year-old son to spend quality time with his grandparents. The 5 of us stayed in the house for 3 days. The all house if well-furnished in a classic style and it's immaculately cleaned. Between the 2 floors, the property includes 4 bedrooms, a living room, a large kitchen and 2 common bathrooms with an additional ensuite. We did not cook, but all utensils and appliances were available should you wish to. We were greeted by the hosts who are living in the house bellow. A lovely couple who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable installed and had all amenities important to us ( we can not forget the special treat we found on the arrival - a delicious homemade cake). The property location was excellent for us. It has great road links to the town centre as well other places but situated in a quiet residential area. The train station is also 10 min away by car, from where you can reach Lisbon in 1 hour. We were offered parking in the family private gated car parking area, but there is plenty free parking on the street. Across the road there is a Lidl, which we found very handy. An excellent outing nearby is The National Railway Museum of Portugal, it was a hit among the 3 generations and is definitely worthy a visit. We recommend this property, which is great value for money and surely we will book Couto Sa' again.

It was an excellent stay indeed. A very spacious room, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds and very pleasant bathroom. We enjoyed the free SPA very much, and used it both evening and the morning after. An elegant and satisfying breakfast is also included. The best place to stay in the the area. The reception stall, especially Monique, were very attentive and helpful.

Very cosy and nice stay! The host, Alberto, is very attentive and supporting. The very important thing for me as a pilgrim doing Santiago trail was available food in the house! After walking all day and returning in pouring rain it was nice not to go outside and looking where to have my dinner)

Marvelous place. Beautiful old village, orchards of cork trees. From the lovely host Brigita, we got a fesh bread in the morning. Beautiful modern apartment in the old stone house. Everything was perfect. Nearby places worth visiting: Tomar, Rio Nabao walley.

Francisco our host was beyond helpful leading up to our stay. I was doing the Camino walk and he even offered to give me a ride into Golega for the last 5km of my walk. I did politely decline. He also offered a taxi service for my mother who was coming in by train. He greeted us with the friendliest of welcomes and even changed our room free of charge.

A town with few attractions.

A town with few attractions. The only interesting point is the locomotive museum. The surrounding towns and those near the river are more attractive. The restaurant "O Júlio" is very good. Very generous portions, delicious food, and a super affordable price.

Perfect for arrival by train from Spain (twice daily from Badajoz). Perfect as a starting point for train journeys to Guarda (beautiful mountain line Beira Baixa). Perfect as a resting place before continuing on to Lisbon or Coimbra/Aveiro/Porto. A visit to the railway museum is a must.

We visited the National Railway Museum, which I highly recommend; it's very beautiful and has very friendly staff. We had lunch at Parque Verde do Bonito in Trincanela, with a fantastic view and a wonderful buffet.

Entroncamento is a railway junction in central Portugal. For railway enthusiasts, it boasts excellent connections throughout the country. The magnificent National Railway Museum is located here and is a must-see. The town itself is quiet, well-maintained, and clean. Several military barracks are situated within and around the town. The Marian Sanctuary of Fatima is also nearby.

I liked everything,the place is very welcoming and very spacious.I felt like I was in the comfort of my own home.I recommend others book this place too,I forgot to mention the decor,it's very modern in comparison to other apartments in entroncamento that I've seen and in my opinion it's great.

I like the fact that the hotel is just across the 🚆 🚉 Station. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic, and yet good 👍. Yummy buffet near the 🏨 ,but only one open weekend. Not much to do in the town, good for a peacefull break . 😊
