4Bs - Birds & Bicycles was the perfect finale to our four-day cycling adventure before heading home. This charming spot offers a prime location, allowing you to easily stroll to a variety of delightful restaurants in the picturesque town of Castro Verde. Our host, Susana, is an absolute gem! She welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed after our long journey. We enjoyed a restful night on a comfortable bed, rejuvenated with a hot shower, and appreciated the privacy blinds that allowed us to rest at any hour. To top it all off, we discovered a wealth of cycling adventures waiting to be planned and indulged in an amazing breakfast that fueled our trip home. If you find yourself in Castro Verde, staying here is an absolute must!

Everything was just about perfect. The room was big, so was the bathroom. The bed was big and comfortable. There were tea and coffee available for us to drink in shared spaces in front of the room. We couldn’t use the pool since it was raining. But looks great, new, well maintained.

The house is beautifully decorated and organised. It has plenty of excellent communal space (if a family took all the rooms). Great eating spaces. A lovely walled garden with pools, loungers, plants, trampoline, football goal. A real surprise in such a rustic village.

We were greeted by the owners who showed us around their delightful cottage. Everything was just as described and we wanted for nothing. You will need a car as the area is secluded but it makes a fine base for exploring the Alentejo
