Gisa and Fred were exceptional hosts. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The evening vegetation meal was very tasty. They were very kind and went out of their way to provide a lovely breakfast earlier than usual to accommodate my request to leave early.

This guest house is a great find on the Camino Portuguese. It was pouring with rain the day we arrived and we could get into the room, get the heating on and get our soaking packs and clothes dry! The room was spacious for a hotel room and the bathroom was well appointed. The lovely owner even organised to take us to a restaurant 1km away and then the lovely owner of the restaurant had his son drive us back again! It was also fabulous food! Breakfast the next morning was also great and the hotel sits amongst vineyards with beautiful views of the rolling hills around. The pool would be amazing in summer!
