A wonderful hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was truly top-notch: the lobby, the room, the restaurant and bar, and the spa. Special thanks for the pleasant surprises during our honeymoon. Stunningly beautiful swans made of towels, ice-cold champagne, a delicious cake, and heartfelt congratulations. We were so pleased! Breakfast was always fresh and had a good selection of food. You can even customize your omelette. It was especially nice to see the selection of local cheeses. We're also glad we booked dinner at the hotel. It was a real pleasure to watch the chefs prepare food in the open kitchen and then enjoy their dishes.

The place is absolutely astonishing. From the very beginning when the personnel greats you at the desk, providing with refreshing tea, and a small tour around the place. The hut for yoga or massage with a magnificent view. Warm pool, a fireplace in the room. Perfect design, lovely breakfast and cuisine, very polite and keen on details, and of course, the magnificent view on the endless and ruthless ocean.

A very good hotel for the price-quality ratio. It has a parking lot, and the pleasant staff helps with everything. There is a swimming pool that is cleaned daily. The beach is a 1-minute walk away, and Ponta Delgada is a 20-minute drive by car. The breakfast is monotonous, but it was suitable for me. The room is cleaned every day, has air conditioning, and a balcony. Nearby, there is a beach bar to watch football matches on TV.

This guesthouse is amazing. Never saw such a well maintenanced guesthouse and so clean. Up on arriv Al you get a delicious pastel de nata and also fresh water. The staff is so friendly and helpful and also very good cooks.

Situated directly on the sea, this accommodation offers priceless views as well as breathtaking sounds of the waves at night. I had the room on the top floor, which was perfect for me. Spacious and clean, as you would expect. The bed was big and very comfortable! The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the bathroom with a large window, rain shower and bathtub. The hosts, Rita & Pedro, are friendly and helpful. There is little space for guests, but that is a good thing. There is a family atmosphere. Not to mention the incredible breakfast that is served! Plenty of choice of regional as well as in-house products. On the terrace with a view of the ocean. I would love to come back!

this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for...

this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for that matter, if you had to walk so a car is a necessity, and although the hotel had amenities like restaurant (only open for breakfast with the same breakfast every day) and vending machines (which if you could find a working one was empty( best piece of advise is find a grocery store, the island living is the best but it does take some getting used to if your from North America.

Stunning location. Incredible volcanic scenery. Wonderful wildlife. Great bars and eateries up the hill in Agua do Pau. Speeding Traffic in the area a major problem. Roads very dangerous, particularly after dark. Illicit drugs openly available close by if that's your thing, probably contributing to the road safety issues.

Simply wonderful, with quiet spaces that allow us to meditate and relax! Very peaceful. Fantastic view of the pool and the sea. I even loved the beautifully maintained flowerbeds. Well done to everyone who works there for the well-being of the guests!

The town is ideally located for planning trips around the island. It's usually sunny and warm, and perfectly quiet enough for relaxation, even with children. Good places to eat include Bar Caloura and Casa do Abel. A great place to visit the swimming pools in the Caloura area.

The most beautiful spot on the island, tropical greenery, friendly locals. Plenty of small supermarkets. Excellent fish restaurant at the harbor. Authentic cafes in the village, but no real restaurants. Beautiful walks in the area. At Caloura Beach, there's a beach and a nice cafe.

It's a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms, friendly staff, and a stunning location on the Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast is very extensive. The pool, unfortunately, wasn't heated in March, but it was large, and you can enjoy the sun on the loungers.
