My Dad and I arrived and were greeted by the friendly hotel staff. We were impressed by the beauty of the hotel and its surroundings. The room was large and accommodating. We ate lunch in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. One of the staff members called and reserved a winery tour for us. Great staff! The only regret we had was that we wished we could have stayed longer.

The house was impeccably clean and equipped with all the appliances I needed. The highlight was the wonderful fireplace, which was easy to use and added a cozy ambiance to the space. The host was simply amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and willingly assisted with any requests I had. The breakfast served in the morning was not only generous in portion but also absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful stay. I'll certainly be returning whenever I have the opportunity."

We were in the area for a specific reason and wanted...

We were in the area for a specific reason and wanted somewhere close by but also pleasant and relaxing. Airbnb was a choice but so glad we opted against and stayed here. Our party had 4 rooms, each a unique experience. But equally stunning. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. You won’t be disappointed, if anything even after this review you will still be surprised by the short stay in tranquility. A car is a must. We used this area as a base for trips to Mangualde and local shopping and restaurants all within a 10 minute excursion.

It's a small village of about fifteen houses, the Elgueiras...

It's a small village of about fifteen houses, the Elgueiras thermal baths, and three hotels. The only shops are a small local produce store, a bistro, a cash machine, and each hotel has its own restaurant. You have to go to other villages to find a pharmacy, grocery store, or other basic shops.

Very deserted, as the influx of visitors to the thermal baths has decreased, people don't frequent that area much, which is very beautiful and healthy. The food is very good, and not very expensive. I highly recommend the restaurant O Martelo (Falorca) (although expensive) and Zé Pataco (Canas de Senhorim). Different and very good food in both.

A very pleasant hotel with excellent value for money. A very good vintage pool with a beautiful view. Attentive staff and a good breakfast. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.

We had a short stay but it was a really good experience overall. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, made us feel right at home. We has a small issue with the toilet flush in one of the rooms but the everyone was ready to help. The breakfast was good. The rooms was very comfortable. When we return we will definitely come back to hotel Pantanha!

The standard was tremendous. Booking online doesn’t do it justice. From first impression to the last, I can say in all honesty that I haven’t stayed at a hotel of equal standard/value anywhere in the world.
