Excellent location to arouca Bridge. We were looked after so well by Sandra and Anna and they were so welcoming and attentive. The place was spotless and the breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We also really enjoyed the pool and the views are amazing.

This is a very beautiful place - really quiet, spotless clean and everything new. Breakfast had everything you would need and the hosts were hospitable and welcoming. The 516 Arouca bridge abs Passadicos do Paiva are close. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience

Our stay at the small hotel in the Arouca region was simply superb! The staff was very accommodating, communication and check-in went smoothly. Good breakfast. Due to heavy rainfall, we ended up spending more time at the hotel than planned, but it was no issue at all. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It is one of this thoroughly restored farmhouses, which provides all comodities of a modern home but maintaining the charme of a historic building. For a rather small village the place has a surprisingly good infrastructure with supermarkets, cafes, bars andr restaurant. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay.

The location was excellent, not so far from civilisation, but still just right in the middle of nature, very tranquil, relaxing. The house is a dream place for people who seek solitude and relaxation. It is very nicely done, the common kitchen has many tools and equipment to comfortably stay for several days. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, quickly responding to additional questions and provided useful tips.

Alvarenga is famous for longest suspension bridge in the world. Great experience to cross it. Also has nice walking trail along the river. Unfortunately due to high temperatures we could not walk through.

Beautiful area with plenty of routes for walkers.

Beautiful area with plenty of routes for walkers. Great for outdoors and nature lovers. Very interesting geology and cultural visits options. Restaurants offer top quality local meat, but that's very much it. Plan for your own cooking if you are hoping for some variety in your diet while in the area.
