I would highly recommend Wróbelek for anyone who needs some rest and wants to disconnect from the city. The food was delicious, the staff were super friendly, helpful, professional and I could not praise enough the atmosphere they have created. Wróbelek is also located close to main Bieszczady mountains tracks starting points (car or bus is needed anyhow). I do consider my stay as 10 out 10 :)

Amazing place, where you'll feel like visiting old friends. The house is newly built. The room had a nice comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. All bedrooms in the house have a view for the mountains. The dining room comes with a couple of tables and a fully equipped kitchen, including a toaster, toastie maker, kettle, filter coffee maker, glasses, cups, plates and cutlery. You can also enjoy your morning coffee by sitting outside looking at the mountains since there's a direct exit to the garden through the dining room. The bar is only 3min and a supermarket 7min away.

The solution is to take buses everywhere.

The solution is to take buses everywhere. The stop is at the ABC store. Another place I recommend is the Angel Shelter – the portions are large, even overwhelming, but delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. There are many trails leading from Wetlina.

There are some great trails nearby, the most memorable being...

There are some great trails nearby, the most memorable being the one to the Puchatka hut and the return trip along the Wetlina meadow. This village perfectly combines the wildness of the Bieszczady Mountains with the tourist-friendly atmosphere of the Angels' Shelter – delicious blueberry pancakes!

Peace and quiet, and everything tourists need.

Peace and quiet, and everything tourists need. There's plenty to eat, both very well and relatively cheaply. There's plenty to see and do, and plenty of shopping. Public transportation is also very good, so you don't need to drive your own car.

Delicious at the Angel Shelter, to the places where popular trails start in May there are buses and a cheaper option - the green bus ((we recommend the latter, in the season from 7 to 18 on the Wetlina - Wołosate route)

There are many forest paths in the area, offering beautiful winter scenery. The lack of crowds makes for a peaceful trek through the foothills. It's worth stocking up on basic groceries, as there are no shops or pharmacies within a nearly 20km radius. This is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Wetlina is one of the key locations in the Bieszczady Mountains, with numerous trailheads. Those who know, know... However, this means quite a few people, which in turn translates into crowds and long lines at some pretty great restaurants...

The gardens are so peaceful, the food was excellent, the room was a great size with a fantastic view, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. After long walks in the mountains, the hotel was the perfect place to relax and unwind and to enjoy a cold beer and the spa. Would love to stay longer than we did.

It is a "pension" rather than a classic hotel, so there is a nice, "homey" feel to it. The guests can use the kitchen downstairs, as well as a large common room. The breakfast was copious, and we appreciated the possibility of packing up the leftovers. Beautiful, quiet location - great, as long as you have a car.
