The setting is superb, you are directly opposite a beautiful green park with lovely trees. You have the balcony to take it all in with your breakfast or espresso coffee (yes there is an espresso machine). Details details. They even thought to put warm yellow lighting in the lamps for use at night time (with a perfect mood). The light blocking curtains cover the entirety of the windows (you would be surprised by how often this is not the case in many apartments) There are heaters aplenty. The bed is very comfortable, it is firm, with delicate pillows, and crisp white linen. It felt very cosy, I also loved the structure of the frame because you can use it for sitting or reading. Very accessible inside/ outside flow, you can go directly to the street without any obstructions. I liked that there were no neighbours (only offices). If it was for sale I would buy this apartment it's quite lovely.

Elk is a very nice town to visit and walk around, a trip to the waterfront on the lake during the summer months is a must! It has a beautiful view but an abundance of bars on the waterfront also. Most of the bartenders and serving staff speak decent English, to get thru the language barrier for you to order a drink or food. I would recommend carrying local currency to pay for things instead of using your cards everywhere.

Ełk is beautiful, well-maintained with modern road infrastructure, and the most beautiful part of the city is located right next to the lake promenade, along which there are countless hotels and catering facilities serving delicious food.

A major advantage of Ełk is its proximity to nature. The city is well-maintained, with numerous areas for families with children. Lake Ełckie, located in the city center, is impressive. Despite being a small town, it has a very friendly atmosphere.

A nice, pleasant and moderately sized town with nice and many walking/cycling paths. If you want peace and quiet away from crowds and at the same time you want to experience what forests and lakes offer, Elk is the right place. A good base for accommodation to make various excursions around Warmia and Mazury.

We used the city as a base for exploring the surrounding,...

We used the city as a base for exploring the surrounding, more touristy places (Mikołajki, Giżycko, Suwałki, Augustów), and it proved to be a good choice for this purpose, thanks to significantly cheaper accommodation and excellent access to the expressway. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for Ełk itself.

Good location, nice big room. Tea and coffee and a water kettle in a room. Air conditioning working and also it is possible to open windows if needed. Parking in front of a house, entrance is around the corner. Good breakfast, smashed eggs were brought to everyone personally. Hotel is very close to a beautiful lake and there is a walking path, too.
