Brilliant from start to finish. I had the pleasure of talking to staff about the hotel and they were so nice and welcoming to me. My room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was great My bicycle was safely stored in an annex building. You must visit!

Elk is a very nice town to visit and walk around, a trip to...

Elk is a very nice town to visit and walk around, a trip to the waterfront on the lake during the summer months is a must! It has a beautiful view but an abundance of bars on the waterfront also. Most of the bartenders and serving staff speak decent English, to get thru the language barrier for you to order a drink or food. I would recommend carrying local currency to pay for things instead of using your cards everywhere.

The hotel is absolutely good value for the money. The hotel itself is old and old-fashioned, the building his far to big for its purpose. The hotel owner obviously shows great effort to keep it in a good shape. The restaurant had one menu they served that evening, which means, it is freshly cooked by them selves. It was delicious homestyle cooking! The breakfast can't hardly be beaten! I habe really seen a bigger choice of delicious items!

Good and clean hotel for anyone staying overnight or for a few days. Good private parking, beautiful private hotel courtyard and decent hotel breakfast. Hotel rooms simple and clean, very polite staff.
