The hotel has a large free guarded parking lot and this is a big plus. The room was comfortable, the plumbing was functional. There were no signs of mold in the bathtub. The pillows and bed were also comfortable. There were two bottles of drinking water in the room. I would like to note the presence of a sufficient number of sockets in the room and in particular near the bed on both sides. I also liked the ample number of clothes hooks in the bathroom and the convenient large sink where you could conveniently place things. This does not always happen in hotels. Breakfast was enough for me with the opportunity to make unlimited fresh juice on my own. I liked the service at the hotel, unobtrusive, but attentive and friendly.

I was born here and used to love this city, especially its transformation from an industrial center into a tourist destination. Unfortunately, my recent visit was deeply disappointing. The city is overwhelmed by constant construction work, yet many areas feel neglected and abandoned. In some places it resembles a ghost town — people seem to disappear, while prices remain unreasonably high. Accommodation is expensive and often offers very poor value for the cost. Public transportation functions badly: buses are unreliable, and the overall public transport network feels almost non-existent. In reality, only taxis and private transport platforms operate efficiently. Pollution levels are also noticeably high. Although some cultural events may still take place, they are not easily visible or well promoted. As a result, visitors are left with the impression of chaos, high costs, and little return in terms of comfort or experience. Sadly, this visit did not reflect the city I once knew and admired.

Bydgoszcz has a lot of culture, including a fantastic filharmonia, an excellent opera house, and fine museums. Many places to get a meal, a cup of coffee, or a beer. The city has a cool vibe and the people are welcoming.

A charming mix of Gothic, Art Nouveau, and “I swear this building winked at me.” Chill, cultured, and just quirky enough to make you say “Bydgoszcz” three times fast and feel proud you nailed it. Warm-hearted, witty, and always ready to tell you why their city is cooler than Warsaw (and they might be right).

The city is definitely worth a visit - very beautiful architecture and two embankments of different styles - one officially tourist and the second - for quiet relaxation and walks. The MLYN center is a must-see.

It's my home town, so I didn't go for summer attractions.

It's my home town, so I didn't go for summer attractions. There is very nice area in the Old Town or Myślęcinek Park. It's good if you go for an event (sport, music) but not if you plan to go and relax.

Unfortunately the internet gave very little info on Bydgoszcz so I planned day trips out of the city when I should have stayed and toured the city more. It is spectacular and 3 or 4 days would be perfect. Great public transportation, numerous sights and activities, wonderful restaurants, active old town square…. Find the information visitor center in old town. They were a great help

Location very convenient - not so close to the city centre but well connected and close to the river. The room was quiet (well isolated from the external noise), but one could hear people walking in the room above, unfortunate if your neighbours are active in the middle of the night. Excellent breakfast, varied, which is appreciated during longer stay. It was my second stay at the hotel and that also says something.
