Bluewater Sumilon is one of the best resorts I have been to. The boat captain even gave us a little bit of a detour to watch the dolphins while on our way to the island. It was the most wonderful experience! We had a lot of amazing activities within the island as well as the nearby whaleshark watching. Booking this activity through them was worth the price you are paying as they will provide the transport and the assistance of helpful staff to get to the place. The room was amazeballs most especially the huuuuge bathroom with his and hers sinks and cabinets.

What a great place to relax! The entire setting exudes a Mediterranean atmosphere with its white walls and green doors. The room was pleasant with a ceiling fan and excellent air conditioning. You have a hot water kettle, slippers and a TV (with Youtube and Netflix). Very quiet during the night. The shower (with shampoo and soap dispensers) had excellent water pressure. The swimming pool is pleasant and large enough for swimming laps. You have a fantastic view of the ocean. Canoes are available for guests (first 30 minutes free of charge). Its just a 15 minutes walk to the town/market/busstop. On the first floor the restaurant where you also have a great view and some nice breeze .....

Amazing boutique hotel ! Very beautiful quiet place with spacious area, very clean room furnished with taste and big balcony right in front of the sea. It's not a regular, but it's a beautiful designed resort. Good choice of ingredients for the kitchen like organic vegetables also most of the basics for the restaurant are homemade, impressive how they put a lot of work in this. Small details make a big difference. Very fair to low prices for food, wine, and activities in this beautiful place. Jean Michele and Lettie are really kind and helpful host. They work with their staff all the time, so it gives you a feeling of safety - thinks are properly done. For me, it's a paradise where you can learn to dive, snorkelling, or just relax. Around the resort, you will find a lot to do and see. We went to waterfalls and dive with whaleshark this time. Make a booking in advance in order to have a good plan for diving and other activities.

Everything was perfect! Sonny and the team could not have done more to welcome us and were really helpful organising trips for us and taking us places personally. The rooms are modern and very clean and the grounds well looked after. The honesty bar made things easy and the unlimited supply of clean drinking water was the icing on the cake!

Everything is perfect. From location, food to service. It’s so heavenly watching sunset and sunrise everyday. Feels like paradise from the balcony. Plus they will give you snorkeling gear to go down to the beach. It’s actually amazing to find hidden gem in a place like this. I love it. And I’ll definitely comeback. I just want to say Thank you for the staff who was nice and friendly.

This is an excellent hotel and dive centre. Mark and Kay are lovely people, very friendly and helpful and they clearly go out of their way to ensure their guests have the best experience. The rooms are great with comfortable beds, the view is amazing. The facilities and diving/ snorkeling gear they provide is great and they have what feels like a private reef full or Marine life. I cannot reccommend this place enough.

I would not recommend this resort to anyone, there is...

I would not recommend this resort to anyone, there is absolutely nothing compare to the hotel rate. If you want to go for Oslob or Kawasan falls, better stay in OSLOB or near Kawasaki falls. There is absolutely nothing in that property either beach or pool or even food. Rooms are not very clean too. Not value for money.

The stay was amazing. If anyone visits Cebu for a vacation they must visit Sumilon island. There are so many beautiful fishes and forest of corals and water is so clear. I have never seen such a beautiful underwater environment before. Staffs are extremely kind and thoughtful. Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. There were Philippine themed dinner buffet and Japanese themed dinner buffet. I liked both but Philippine one was better.

it’s an island resort, with its own sandbar, white sandy beaches, a lagoon for kayaking and fishing, a variety of birds all over the place… clear blue waters of the sea perfect for snorkeling, swimming.
