What a great place to relax! The entire setting exudes a Mediterranean atmosphere with its white walls and green doors. The room was pleasant with a ceiling fan and excellent air conditioning. You have a hot water kettle, slippers and a TV (with Youtube and Netflix). Very quiet during the night. The shower (with shampoo and soap dispensers) had excellent water pressure. The swimming pool is pleasant and large enough for swimming laps. You have a fantastic view of the ocean. Canoes are available for guests (first 30 minutes free of charge). Its just a 15 minutes walk to the town/market/busstop. On the first floor the restaurant where you also have a great view and some nice breeze .....

Staff is very approachable. They even greet you wherever they meet you: in the lobby, in the elevator, or at the hallway. Bed is so comfortable, I had a great sleep for both the nights I stayed. Great breakfast too. You'll have multiple options. The colorful interior is also a plus.

I love this new Hotel Dumaguete. It’s got an environmentally-friendly and contemporary design with artworks by local artists at every corner. But what impressed me the most was their impeccable customer service, the front desk staff and the entire breakfast crew (including Joy) were very friendly and attentive. Above all, they were all very swift and efficient at providing help. I had an unfortunate medical emergency one morning… the hotel had a van with a driver at the ready and the guard even carried me to the van! (Side note: calling for an ambulance in the Philippines is rarely the quickest way to get you to hospital). Long story short, they brought me to ER at the university hospital in time and I was able to get the urgent medical help that I needed. I was discharged late that evening and it was a pleasant surprise to see a basket of fruits with a get well card in my room from the hotel staff and management. Team Hotel Dumaguete, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness!

One of the best places I have stayed in Dumaguete. The room was well appointed with a fridge, microwave, rice cooker and a great Aircon unit. The bed sheets we so soft and the place was very clean. Well done!
