This was my first solo trip after the passing of my husband over a year ago. I was a bit apprehensive, but I had an amazing time because of the kindness of the staff and the secure and comforting facilities. I loved the jazz music in the restaurant, the kind consideration of everyone, and most importantly, the small things. Everyone seemed to remember your name, despite the large facility. I'm so incredibly grateful for the experience, and I look forward to returning 🙏

The location was less than 100m from the docks. It was easy to visit the underground river, and the owner helped me arrange my tour. I am very satisfied with the hostel.

A lovely place with a beautiful big garden and picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. A few mins walking distance to center of Sabang, pier from where the boats to the Underground River depart, pretty sandy beach, mangroves for kayaking and paddle boarding, and zip line. The family and staff are very nice and helpful and you can get a delicious, healthy dinner in the resort too. The cottages are clean and spacious, no aircon or hot water but it’s not really needed. Overall, a great experience and a great feeling to stay at Bambua, I’ll be happy come back one day.

Fantastic! We loved it, we had an amazing 3 nights. Incredible views, amazing food, and we loved the bamboo cottage balcony. Everyone is nice and helpful and everything works well, the tour organisation, transfers, the pick up from airport..etc. As vegetarians that love organic food, we loved the organic garden they have with their fruits and veggies! 100% recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful and healthy stay in the jungle. It’s also very convenient for the subterranean river. Obviously, you need to be okay with insects as it’s in the jungle.

Peacefully located in the jungle, the room design is amazing. We are a family travelling with 3 kids and it was just the perfect setting for us. An amazing view from the room and the restaurant and the staff was really helpful.
