SpainOur stay at Chevi’s Place was really great. Cherry took amazing care of us — every day she provided all the amenities we needed and was always very attentive to anything we asked for. The bed was comfortable and there was also a fan in the room.
Cherry made us coffee every morning, we were able to rent a motorbike directly with her, and she even helped us arrange transportation to our next destination.
We highly recommend Chevi’s Place! :)

Even the room was small, we really enjoyed breakfast at the terrace and great pool area! :) There are only a few rooms, so the environment of the hotel is really quiet and calm. The staff of the hotel is also really sweet, always smiling and very helpful with everything.

My partner was sick from food poisoning (be careful in Port Barton!!!) and the owner Eugene was super kind and helpful, driving us to hospital and to get supplies and such! And even driving us to El Nido. If it wasn’t for his help it would have been really difficult.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed...
If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

Roxas is off the beaten track, a place to go to escape the crowds and the commercial overload. The people that live in the village near Mecaja are genuinely happy to see you and show you around. Mecaja where we stayed works closely with the little community where they are established. Roxas is not for fancy restaurants, and shopping. It will offer you the raw basics and you will get on just fine. Mecaja will help make your holiday dreams come true.

The room was very big and the bed with very comfortable mantras.
I was on my car and accordingly my plans, have to leave at 6 am. They wake up early and cooked breakfast for me 😄
So nice.
Guys, if you will be here, please stay in this hotel.
If you will tell the story, who advised you this place-you can tell the guy, who had a flight ✈️ with you in the same aircraft, when you landed on the different island.

The hotel is set on a road behind the main through road so it's very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was local cuisine, rice with either corned beef or sausage and fried egg served with bananas and a glass of juice. Free tea and coffee is available from reception. I chose this location as it was pretty central in Palawan and allowed me to access Port Barton and numerous other locations fairly easily.

The hotel located very peaceful place, staffs are very friendly and kind, the food in the restaurant was perfect.
There was a dog called “Sune”, he was sick but all staffs are taking care of him a lot, and Sune was very adorable too. We already miss the place and Sune so much.
We would like to come back again here one day.

Really cute little hotel in Roxas. We were spsd to have an overnight but due to flight delays could only use it as a day hotel on our way to one of the islands. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great value.
