Everything! The location, attentive service of owners and staff, the house is clean but homey with a million dollar view. There's room for improvement re ventilation in the kitchen area. An enhaust fan would resolve this issue. But over all, our stay was great and we will be back again!

It met all my needs for my 3-week stay - a basic and clean room to sleep in after long days out!! No bugs in the room, toilet and bed sheets are clean. Not a fancy place as it’s a guesthouse - so as long you manage expectations and enjoy simple pleasures in life, you will enjoy the space. Sunsets are wonderful at the property! Nice area, occasionally there’s local music from some nearby houses. My budget room had no hot water, but that was fine by me as I spent most of the day out in the sun or diving. The owner, Mike, is a humble and friendly host. The staff are also super nice.

Beautiful spot with a great view of the crystal clear water overlooking Tulang Diot island. Spacious rooms with huge bathrooms and nice hot shower with great water pressure. Clean and modern and very comfortable. Nice bed too. We swam in the bay below the hotel and saw many sea turtles and a few sea snakes. The owner was thoughtful and friendly and genuinely tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff went out of their way for us as well. Highly recommended!

The property is well designed so as not be over crowded. You could definitely have a relaxing stay here. The place does not look commercial at all. It has a nice well maintained infinity pool. It is actually located at the top of a cliff, which makes it very unique. There are stairways to go to the bottom of the cliff accessing the sea where you could actually swim during low tide. You could also enjoy watching the sunrise here. The staff (led by Gina and Shaina) are few but exceptionally helpful. I actually learned that Gina and her hubby runs the property. They were very accommodating (within reason) on our needs and kept the property clean. They also run a kitchen so you could actually order all your meals without leaving the property. The food are reasonably priced and has generous serving. Most of the food are traditional Filipino foods but they have some international as well. They actually also have a car pick up service.

You could also enjoy watching the sunrise here. The staff (led by Gina and Shaina) are few but exceptionally helpful. I actually learned that Gina and her hubby runs the property. They were very accommodating (within reason) on our needs and kept the property clean. They also run a kitchen so you could actually order all your meals without leaving the property. The food are reasonably priced and has generous serving. Most of the food are traditional Filipino foods but they have some international as well. They actually also have a car pick up service.

For a relaxed pace, take the ferry to this set of islands. There are affordable motels and exclusive sea side resorts. The more basic you travel the more REAL your visit becomes. Shop at a Sory, Sory, Eat Street foods, enjoy open markets. Find a volunteer project, and always, always, always find the barangay having the festival and the disco that night.

The Camotes Island is a paradise with tranquility.

The Camotes Island is a paradise with tranquility. A very short trip by ferry. Aircon seating. The pace of daily local life is very relaxed. Very happy people always willing to help when asked, they always have the time to stop and pass the time of day with you. You can just merge with the locals and feel very at home. The food is wonderful and we often ate at the Santiago Bay Hotel, Santiago Hostel (ATM if required) and Pitto they have a wide choice of food, the fresh fruit juices / shakes were a firm favorite with lots of choice. The food was very good value, a full well cooked fresh meal at less than £3.50 per person..a hearty meal, dessert with all the freshly prepare fruit juices, coke etc...for 3 was less than £20 Plenty of sight seeing to do on the Island..many beaches to explore..scooters best mode of transport. Simply paradise..

Camotes Island is a hidden gem!

Camotes Island is a hidden gem! The beaches are beautiful, the water is crystal clear, and the locals are very friendly. It’s peaceful, not too crowded, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are also lots of places to explore like caves, waterfalls, and cliff diving spots. I really enjoyed my trip and would love to visit again!

My family and I, visited Lake Danao and Bukilat cave and it was wonderful we have so much fun. Please note if you visit Bukilat cave...make sure it's high tide and sunny for taking best pictures as well as swimming and relaxing with clean and pristine water. Bukilat cave is also great for seniors and my 3rd times visiting.

The Camotes Islands aren’t overly touristy or busy.

The Camotes Islands aren’t overly touristy or busy. You really need to rent a motorbike to get around but driving on the islands is very easy for just about anyone who is at all familiar with motorbikes. Traffic is such that driving around is easy. What we liked best is that the locals are very accommodating and helpful. The pace is very slow and most beaches or walks you will find quiet and solitude which is never easy to find once tourism takes over most islands. There are beautiful white sand beaches to enjoy without crowds. If you want to experience what the Philippines was like before tourism then try the Camotes.

I appreciated the small island vibe.

I appreciated the small island vibe. People were kind and helpful. Our location was great in Santiago beach area. Pedicabs are available to drive you to the town in San Francisco. It's also very easy to get a tour of all the amazing scenic locations. Our favorite was Bukilat cave and Santiago beach!
