Literally the only resort in Sogod Bay that is not right next to the road. Quiet, right on the beach, comfortable, clean. Easy going owners and very helpful. There is no electricity but option to charge things is easy. I loved it. Absolute best value on So. Leyte.

Portofino Homestay is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, Mareeya welcomed us with such kindness and care, making us feel at home right away. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from travel tips to delicious home-cooked meals. The homestay itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained, offering a perfect place to relax. It’s right by the beach, the room is big and comfortable, the shower is great and has hot water.
