Nuts Huts is an hotel Lodge located in the margins of the Loboc River, deep inside the forest. Although the access may not be very easy (to get there you will go through 800 meters of difficult rocky road) it is totally worth it. The scenery is idyllic, you’ll be staying in a cabin surrounded by nature and wildlife. The hotel is located only 15 minutes away from Loboc and 45 minutes from Chocolate Hills (by car). Reception/kitchen staff were always kind and helpful. Food was good, rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. An incredible stay, close to many main attractions in Bohol. Definitely recommended and we hope to come back one day.

It's a very nice place in the woods, near Loboc river. I liked that we lived in a house surrounded by trees. We did kayaking, rented bikes and drove them to the other side of the island. The food was delicious, and personnel - helpful.

Antonio Homestay is like a home away from home, it has all the amenities you need - hot & cold shower with good pressure, comfy bed, quiet air con, slippers, blanket & wash kit. The staff are very kind, when we arrived (Holy Saturday) dinner wasn’t available at the property so they drove us to the nearest restaurant & picked us up after our meal. They also drop us off at the jeepney terminal at the end of our stay. As well as organising a scooter rental & firefly tour. The location is very good - close to the Loboc river, having a scooter is recommended to reach restaurants & activities (tarsiers, chocolate hills & river activities)

A great place to stay on the river! Staff was very friendly and very helpful with any activity or transport arrangements. Room was big enough for 3 people, AC worked well. Had enough hot water for all 3 people to shower. Food at resort restaurant was very good!! Great value for money!

Good location close to town center. Michelina is lovely, always laughing and smiling, very accomodating and makes you feel at home. Good breakfast, helped us with washing and quick turnaround. Comfortable and spacious room. Would stay again and recommend

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use. We also enjoyed using the paddles and kayaking the river with the equipment the hotel provides.

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch...

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch and they are good with reasonable price. We also tried "fireflies tour" at 6:30pm and kayaking at 9am next day, the experience was great too. The rooms are OK. Given the rooms are built on top of swamp, you cannot compare them with rooms in the city.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Great bamboo cottage on the Loboc River away from the busyness of Panglao Island. It felt like you were in the rainforest. Location was ideal. Staff were friendly and helped us arrange a Countryside Tour as well as a firefly boat tour. The Loboc dinner cruise was a short tuk tuk ride away. Our cottage included a front porch and hammock as well as a charming outside bathroom and rain shower.

The facilities, the gorgeous natural environment, the comfortable big room with a huge comfy bed, the Venia’s restaurant, delicious, and the very best, the personal of the hotel, always ready to help with a wonderful warm smile. This is an excellent guesthouse in the heart of Loboc, just minutes from the river cruise and well-places to visit the Chocolate Hills. Michelina was very helpful with motorbike hire. The room is basic but good.
