This is an excellent hotel and dive centre. Mark and Kay are lovely people, very friendly and helpful and they clearly go out of their way to ensure their guests have the best experience. The rooms are great with comfortable beds, the view is amazing. The facilities and diving/ snorkeling gear they provide is great and they have what feels like a private reef full or Marine life. I cannot reccommend this place enough.

Hosts. Place is run by great, warm and welcoming family. We feel much more like visiting old friends, than rent a room randomly choose on booking.com. We spent fantastic time together. Owners are exceptional guides through Philippine culture and local area. Huge bonus: friendly daughter and dog with big heart. We highly recommend this place for everyone, who wants to meet someone special not just looking for bed for a night or two.

I chose the Star for its location out of town. This made all the difference as it is in a nice quiet spot perched over the sea and the views are lovely. I think the main feature overall was the caring kindness and hospitality of hosts Mani and Claire (and their assistance staff) and I am very thankful for their help and generosity to us. I really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet it is here — perfect for relaxing and unwinding away from the busy city. You can easily rent a motorcycle (just make sure to bring your passport) to explore nearby spots at an affordable price. I absolutely loved their food, especially the chicken curry — I could eat that every day and never get tired of it! They offer American, Continental, and Filipino breakfast options, but if you want curry in the morning, you can totally order that too, no problem. The view isn’t exactly five-star since there are some houses nearby, but you get an entire mountain on the other side of the road, and the sunset is breathtaking. The sunrise is amazing too — it reflects beautifully on the clear sea waters each morning!
