We loved pretty much everything. It was a slice of paradise. The two beaches were beautiful and the pool was massive and deep and super clean. The restaurant was great with tasty and varied food. You can even buy cigars and premium spirits there! Staff were great and very warm. There were buggys to help you get around the island. Breakfast was awesome also.

the house reef is just amazing. you can kayak to a tiny nearby island and kayak for 100s of meters in many direction, huge beautiful corals and it feels as if you are swimming in a fish tank.on the resort there are also some large lizards which are a must see. they have a dedicated scuba diving centre with 2 instructors. Noemi was extremely attentive and great with us on our reef dives. the reefs and different ship wracks are all around you in a short boat ride away. the owner is a lovely guy and really hands on and the support staff are all extremely friendly and dinners and breakfasts are super tasty and healthy.. ;) can’t recommend this resort enough! you must experience it!

From the time we arrived on the island, we were taken care of. The airport transfer was easy. Once we arrived at the resort we were able to immediately have fun and enjoy the amenities. My family did a scuba expedition and they were well taken care of by the dive master and staff.

We found the hotel due to a last-minute cancellation of our boat, and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. So far, this has been one of our best stays in the Philippines. The hotel is located far from the city (50 minutes by scooter), which makes for a peaceful stay while still allowing access to activities such as kayaking, visiting beautiful beaches, and taking part in the tours offered by the hotel. We did the Black Island tour, and it was simply magical—without being overcrowded with tourists and featuring stunning beaches. The included breakfast was also delicious, as was the rest of the menu for lunch and dinner. There was a great variety of options, and it was one of the best places we ate—the fried calamari was especially delicious. A special thanks to Ra, the owner, who welcomed us warmly from the beginning to the end of our stay. She took care of us throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly and making things easier for us. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. We even extended our stay by an extra day just to enjoy the place a little longer, and we would recommend it without hesitation. The fact that our room didn’t have Wi-Fi was also a big plus, as it allowed us to disconnect even more.

Nestled in the tranquil south-western part of the island, Busuanga Bay Lodge boasts an outdoor infinity pool, a private dive centre and in-house wine cellar.
