The staff were super friendly and helpful. The views were incredible, the food was the best we've had in the Philippines and the location was perfect for diving/snorkelling with dugongs. There's a private pier that the dugong operator (dugong dive center) picks you up from.
It is out the way from everything else but scooters are cheap to hire (and brought directly to the Riverhouse).
If you like wildlife, it's nice for that too. We saw plenty of birds, lizards and a palawan stink badger!
Lastly, hot water/pressure was fine. Would highly recommend. I'd love to go back one day.

If you come only for shipwrecks diving, Coron is definitely the place - but I was not impressed by the coral reefs and biodiversity in general. Consider Raja Ampat as alternative destination if you are not obsessed with shipwrecks. Coron town itself is a little ugly and dirty town but there are plenty of very good restaurants (owned unfortunately mainly by Europenas/Australians) where the food and service is excellent and absolutely surprising. Unfortunately, those are also the places where you find all and "only" the tourists. Coron is an experience - not a lot of culture, not a lot of sightseeing, but it's a gateway to beautiful waters. The hopping-island tours are terrible! They try to fit 20-25 people per boat - try to organize your private boat, it is absolutely worth the money! We enjoyed the day and the service provided.

Lovely area. The town is super charming and chilled.
The Islands around are amazing and it worth a visit.
Unfortunately the tours they offered are all a bit Rushy, not enough time to chill and enjoy each of the stops.

You should be physically fit before you go to Coron because there is a lot of hiking and climbing, but it is all worth it. The biew is spectacular and the experience is great. Fro the hotel staff, to the boats man and tour guide that we had. Thank you Coron. When you go there try to space out your activities. Like one day destination trips the next day rest

If you love nature and diving - this is the place to be.
If you love nature and diving - this is the place to be. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever dived at - truly breathtaking
It’s nice if you rent a bike but it is also safe and easy to walk. Best place to dive was Siete Pecados and the 7-Stop-Island Hopping tour. Food was okay, you can eat anywhere without suffering food poisoning. But go easy on the food on the boat tour, not sure if everything was fresh…

Beautiful island with much to explore and quite reasonable prices.
The place is not overcrowded and has even parts of the island where you can have the whole beach to yourself.
The day boat trip through lagoons , lakes and cave was the highlight .
As a recommendation i wouldn't take the 18hour ferry again from Manila , just fly, even if it seems more expensive, you will save time and be comfortable on the beach rather than a ferry boat

The tours of the surrounding islands and interesting areas...
The tours of the surrounding islands and interesting areas are great, good snorkelling, crystal clear water. The town itself is pretty average, restaurants are OK at best, while some are outright terrible. Nothing to do in the town so don't get sunburnt like we did on the first day out (own goal, that one)! A couple of days are plenty here, then go exploring elsewhere, or make sure you book a hotel with a pool so you can enjoy a couple of days lounging if that's your thing, as the beaches are tiny and you have to travel a ways to get there.
Coron Westown Resort was our home away from home when stayed there for 3 days. The breakfast spread is superbly delicious. The staff are polite, accommodating and cooperative. Coron town center is 10 minute tricycle ride from the hotel. We loved swimming and lounging by the pool. We would definitely come back and stay at Coron Westown resort if we visit Coron again. I would rate it a 10 for everything ( facilities, staff, food and location).
Beautiful hotel in the middle of the nature, all the staff are super nice/helpful & the location was perfect for us to avoid the crowds (10 min tricycle from Coron Proper Town). Nice pool, very good restaurant open all day and good breakfast.
PS : bring earplugs if you dont want to ear the roosters ! They are quite noisy very early morning but that’s part of the charm of being is the countryside 😆
The rooms and hotel are basic. Beds are a bit hard, but it's clean and decent. When we arrived our room was full of mosquitoes due to a problem with the mosquito nets. They were kind enough to change our room, even with an upgrade, which we were very grateful for.
The receptionists are very attentive and helpful!
Breakfast is basic.
There is a view of the town and port, and islands, from the top.
We are extremely grateful to the staff. They are so kind and thoughtful, helped us a lot with island trip booking, utensils, mosquitoes protection and more. The room itself is spacious and super clean, there is everything you need for cooking (stovetop, fridge, microwave, clean water, utensils). Even though it is really close to main street, the area around the hotel is quiet. We liked it!
Staff we're so friendly and helpful in everything you need from airport transfer to island hopping tours. The room is cozy and clean. Wifi is very good. They provide water dispenser inside the room and it's a plus for me. Location is very near at the Mt. Tapyas and 4 minutes from town proper. I'll definitely book it again when I come back to Coron :)
Stayed here a few nights and it was very nice. A cute little hotel in the center of Coron town (but quiet). You can go easily everywhere in the city. The room is very small but nice. A good view, everything was clean, wifi worked. The people in the hotel were very nice and helpful. It was a good breakfast to start in the day.
The hotel is very nice, breakfast is really good, rooms are spacious, the rooftop bar gives you the best new of Coron, you can enjoy the happy hour at the jacuzzi watching the sunset. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they sure made our stay an enjoyable experience.
The best hotel in Coron town ! So so pretty, the staff so gentle and caring. The room was big and has everything. The pool just perfect.
The day we had to leave at 5 am they even prepared a bag with some excellent sandwiches and fruit !! We had an amazing stay ! Thank you
The location is beautiful and quiet, outside of Coron town. Vilma and Romel are extremely helpful and always willing to share their advice and knowledge of the island. The rooms are very clean and the view out of them in the morning is spectacular.
Private island & lovely beach. Clean inside the bungalows & all throughout the property. Staff were very attentive, pleasant, and especially accommodating to our needs. Felt very safe and protected as guards and staff kept an eye on resort guests.
The resort was an a beautiful island and the snorkeling from the beach was good. Meals were provided and were philipino, which was great. Recommend adding more snacks as I am a diver it would be nice to have a small snack between dives.
Location of the hotel was great (less than 10 mn to go to city center by walk), very nice staff (smiley and helpful), rooms were confortable, clean and quiet.
I recommand this hotel to discover the amazing Coron Islands
It was spacious and comfortable. We’d definitely go back here again. It had a nice view of Coron Island and it’s located right at the heart of town. It was cozy and we slept really good. Great value for money.
Amazing staff, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent food at the restaurant especially the fresh seafood, and nice pool. Recommend if staying in Coron there are not many nice hotels close to town.
Nice boutique style hotel in a quiet location just outside Coron Town. Lovely rooftop bar with great views.Nice pool and restaurant area. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful.
The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. We had a nice view from our room 329. Short Tuk Tuk ride into Coron Town and boat tours can pick you up from the hotels wharf.
I loved the location, perfect to explore the Island of Busuanga, not far from Coron town but enough to feel like one is not in the middle of the crowd.
