It's a really beautiful place. It's a shame that because it was full, we couldn't stay more days. After a 4-day expedition, it was a glorious ending. Good eats, food, views, staff. Spectacular movie setting. Away from the noise and chaos of downtown El Nido. Near some waterfalls and a town called Taytay. They are converting the resort into an eco-resort by installing solar panels, and it is a community project with the neighborhood next door. Such a beautiful view for reading your favorite book. The highlight, aside from the view, is the open-kitchen restaurant. Delicious variety of food. We will surely return.

Very nice and comfortable place in a peaceful area just 20 minutes from el nido.. Tony the host is amazing and he is doing the best possible for the guests.. Highly recommend.

Price-Quality probably the best resort in El Nido if you are looking for authenticity and 'a Room with a view'... Only 5 cabannas, so, max around 10 people staying there! Amazing! Young back-packers stay in El Nido village where they can party at night: they take day trips to the lagoons they want to visit... If you can spend (a little) more, you may want to chose Kudugman! Way closer to all lagoons, with 2 private owned boats (and a super star singing captain :) ), super comfortable beds, even airco in the room... But most important of all, a magic location! A private beach, monkeys waking you up, super friendly staff... The food is good, fresh products, the fish delivered by a local fisherman every morning... If however you are looking for a Hilton/Shangri-La experience, those people should go for another resort in El Nido where you pay 4x the price. But that was not why we came to El Nido: we came to enjoy the beautiful nature and all hidden lagoons... Thank you, Alex, for a great stay! I traveled the entire world, your little paradise goes straight into my top3 !

Amazing place with amazing staff, everyone was so kind and helping, we enjoyed our stay so much and was very sad to leave, I really want to give a huge thanks to the two bartenders Gamie and Dave, two amazing and helping guys that makes awesome cocktails and coffee, we really appreciate them!

DK2 resort is a beautiful hidden gem about 1.5 hour drive from El Nido, the staff can organise a driver for you or you can get your own way there privately. The people that work here, May and her children and the workers will go above and beyond to make sure your stay in comfortable. When I arrived I was travelling alone and incredibly home sick. They sat and chatted with me over dinner, sharing recommendations for places to try on the rest of my travels and some of their own stories. They were so hospitable, making me feel so comfortable and welcomed. The amenities are incredible, it’s been newly renovated and considering how remote the resort is, I was astounded at how all the materials and supplies had been so wonderfully selected. Things I loved most about my stay that made it stand out from anywhere I had been before was seeing how important being environmentally conscious was to May and her family as well as the importance of caring for their workers and the community they live in. Small details like having glass straws and not using paper to do the check in information showed me how dedicated these people are to the environment. May out sources some of the work at the resort to local workers who are looked after by the family so well, if you’re lucky the workers children might be around showing you local sea life and playing on the beach. Tours for island hopping are also done through local people from the village. If you’re not already convinced to come stay here, the food!!! The food is incredible. Prepared by their chef, with the most local ingredients. Fish caught that day by locals and purchased by May, coconuts gathered from their trees, other produce collected at the local market only 5min drive away. And with your breakfast, enjoy a coffee machine made coffee - amazing. Don’t like Filipino food? All good, the families Spanish roots ensure you are also provided with some western options as well.

It was just wonderful, incredible location, very kind staff and the food was brilliant. Away from the crowds, stunning kayaking around, this place truly is a hidden gem.

The room was very spacious with a private bathroom, the balcony area was extremely appreciated. The host was so helpful and kind, answering our questions and even helping us with travel etc. the shared kitchen area was also very helpful and the owner has a shop which we bought noodles from every night haha

In addition to everything being perfect with the rooms, cleanliness, and location, I must say a word of appreciation for the staff. I have never stayed at a hotel with such friendly and helpful staff who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were top notch! Great location, lots of green all around and all well kept. Staff was incredibly friendly, I wasnt feeling well and they kept checking in on me. Were also flexible with check-out times when available so i appreciated that a lot. Overall a great stay!
