The hosts, Mareva and Hubert, are really accommodating, and they speak both English and French very well. The place is well equipped, and I had everything I needed whilst I was there. The house is not far from a shop and a short hike, and is in a beautiful location

Staying at Haere Mai I Te Fare in Moʻorea was one of the best decisions we made! We wanted a different experience for our holiday, and staying in a treehouse truly gave us that tropical island vibe. Most importantly, we experienced the genuine hospitality of the people of Moʻorea. Our hosts, Lucie, her husband, and their daughter were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They are all so lovely, and I felt genuinely sad leaving the place earlier. It was our first time spending Christmas away from our family, but they made us feel completely at home. They were so caring and even went the extra mile by taking me to the shops and grocery shopping with them on Christmas eve, when all the restaurants were closed. The place itself was beautiful and very spacious, with everything we needed. They also have breakfast, which was delicious and reminded me of those early childhood mornings with warm, freshly baked bread. It’s an amazing property to stay at if you want to truly experience laid-back island life. Thank you so much, Lucie and family! ❤️

The bungalow is very comfortable and spotless clean. The terrace and view on the garden are very charming. It's very convenient to have a washer in the unit as well. The host was extremely nice to me and I would book it again!

It didn't feel like a super fancy vacation resort like Bora...

It didn't feel like a super fancy vacation resort like Bora Bora, but more homey like living in a tropical version of the Shire. The people are very nice. Recommended you know at least some French. Mine was super rusty but I managed to get by only using English about 30-40 percent of the time. Recommended you know at least three phrases in Tahitian: Greetings, thank you, and goodbye.

Paradise - We enjoyed our stay at Maddy's House.

Paradise - We enjoyed our stay at Maddy's House. The attention to detail that the owners have was very evident...lots of pride. The pool was refreshing and the little beach was a gem. From this location, we were close to the waterfall hike (recommended), and there is a great little Chinese restaurant close by. Beds were comfy, air conditioning worked great, the kitchen is fully stocked and a lot of outdoor seating. We'd book again - we loved Moorea - some of the best snorkeling we've ever seen.
