We spent 2 nights at Hospedaje Mario in Taquile and it was an incredible and heart-warming experience! Mario and his wife Julia showed us around the island and taught us about the traditions, crafts and way of life of the people of Taquile. They were so welcoming, kind and helpful, and Julia cooked an amazingly delicious meal for us in the evenings! The room was simple but clean, with enough blankets to keep us warm on the cold nights. An unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay in Taquile and had the honour of experiencing life on this quiet and amazing island!

Celso and Juana were extremely welcoming. Celso provides ample information on the people and culture of the island. He was also very helpful in organizing the pick up at our hotel in Puno.

An exceptional place with a wonderful spirit! The rooms are spacy and well equipped, the atmosphere is amazing, it is decorated with so much taste. It offers a rooftop terrace with an amazing view. The breakfast was very tasty. Rene, as well as the other personnel are so nice, friendly and helpful. One of my best accommodation not only in Peru but ever. My honest recommendation to everyone.

Guido and his family are lovely hosts. I felt very comfortable and welcome here. The accommodations were very comfortable and beautifully taken care of. The food was also delicious. Luquina is a very peaceful place to retreat from the busy city of Puno. It was so peaceful to sleep with the sound of the waves and see the stars so clearly at night. I enjoyed the animals, especially the little piglets. Guido took me kayaking, which was absolutely the favorite part of my stay!

Words can not describe how excellent this experience with Guido and his family was. Throughly feeling part of the family and their goal to make everything fabulous in details. The activities and food were great and made sure we could have the beste experience ever to imagine at Lake Titicaca. Even going into the city of Puno, which is save, Guido made sure a taxi was arranged and I could easily and more importantly savely go back to the hotel/lodge. I will definitely return one day!
