Great location by market although can be loud at night particularly on weekends. Owner is very lovely and runs a delicious chicken shop downstairs. Great value for what you get, clean and comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at la casa de Ricky and would 100% recommend. I booked for one night but ended up staying three. The 4 bed room is spacious with very comfortable beds, lockers and hot shower. The place is really pretty with a big and beautiful garden. Ricky was super friendly and helpful, he would wake up especially to make me breakfast before I went hiking. He has two friendly dogs and a very cute cat. Truly the best place I've stayed in whole Peru !

For me it was the best accommodation during my trip to Peru. Dina and Lawrence are incredibly friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. It was no problem to spontaneously extend my stay by a few days. Everything 😃 We got a lot of good advice about the trip from Caraz to Vaquería with colectivos and when we came back from the Santa Cruz Trek we got a room for half price, so we could take a shower. Also we could leave some of our stuff in the house, while we were hiking. Yoly is so nice and very good in speaking english - nice for us because our spanish is not so good 🙃 Yoly is the best 🇵🇪♥️

Great location to explore Caraz and a great base for popular surrounding hikes. Carmen was a fantastic and extremely helpful host, organising & explaining (affordable) transport options to all our hikes. It was great to also get laundry done.

Very nice, big room with the best (hot) shower ever. Service was very good as well, we were leaving before breakfast because of a hike so they prepared the best breakfast ever for us to take away. Including juices, coffee, fruit, fresh eggs and very delicious bread.
