Amazing gem in the middle of the jungle. Lodges are embedded in nature. One morning the howler monkeys were all over the place. We went for a kayak trip amidst the mangroves. Perfect combination for water and nature lovers. The food is top quality. Cari and Ryan support some nature preserving projects. Cari is the Dian Fossey for the Azuero Mantle-Backed howler monkeys, an endemic species that is almost extinct. We also participated in a baby sea turtle release. As we are bird lovers we were thrilled to see 7 toucans in the nearby environment in one of the few panama trees that are left at the pathway to get to the lodge.

Beautiful place with a fantastic view! The large swimming pool right outside the room was the highlight of our stay. We saw a group of monkeys in the tree right by the terrace when we had dinner, exciting! The breakfast was absolutely ok with lots of fruit, toast, jam and omelette. Sebastian, the owner was a very pleasant man! The only negative thing to say about the place is the road here from the main road, full of stones and difficult to drive on with a regular car, SUV or Jeep is recommended. But we got there with our little Nissan, you just have to drive slowly and carefully... Worth mentioning: We arrived way too early according to the check-in time, but Sebastian was very accommodating and we were allowed to check in early, that's what I call good service!
