Show Pony resort exceeded or expectations during our stay in November. The resort extends from the beach to the mangrove. Beach front there are chairs and lounge chairs in the shade. At the resort itself, there are little apartments around the pool and a cute restaurant. Behind the resort is a mangrove forest with a dock and walkway. I saw monkeys in the walkway. The resort also offers kayak rentals and tours through the estuary. We enjoyed that a lot!

This was a beautiful small hotel right on the beach, with enormous rooms and modern bathrooms. It has a great pool and a full shared kitchen. We had the beach almost to ourselves, and you could walk for miles in either direction. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Las Lajas, Magic Mountain Lodge is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

EVERYTHING! No, really! This kind of review is easy to complete because I have nothing but good things to say about Magic Mountain Lodge. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The room is as clean as it can be. The staff, the rooms, the grounds and above all else, the breakfast are beyond my expectations every time I stay here. Treat yourself and spend some time here.

A real gem: wonderfully inviting and friendly place. Beautiful bungalows set in a lush garden. Restaurant serves some seriously delicious Italian cuisine (best gnocchi ever). Owners were the perfect hosts: they were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Wished we would have stayed for longer!
