We really loved staying here. It felt very secluded, away from the world. Going in the kayak, just navigating ourselves through the channels was wonderful. The bungalow itself is well equipped and we loved the sound of the water during the night as well as the torches on the patio. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We really regretted that we could only stay for one night. I would highly recommend this place. It truly was a magical experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. This place really was one of the highlights of our trip through Panama! It was one of those hotels where you could feel people are doing it with their heart and truly care about making their guests an amazing time. The owner greets you personally, he was always there if we needed something, brought us fresh coconuts from the tree and tropical fruit to try. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was very good, we loved the breakfast and dinners we had. You also have local coffee and tea in the room which is such a nice gesture. We also got lunches to go for our day trips, in a cooler with ice. The view is also great and we saw so many monkeys and birds and iguanas. Definitely recommend!
