Fig Shades is a great place to relax and a great base to visit Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi/Mibam. Mr. Santosh is a very kind and helpful host! He helped me arrange a trip to Wadi Mibam at a great price by Omani standards, which is great because the road to get there is difficult. There are also 3 restaurants nearby (10 min walk) as well as grocery shops (5-10 min walk). The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is also nice. When you reach the big tree on the side of the road (the one that’s shown on Google street view), keep going a few meters towards the flyover and you’ll find a ‘Fig Shades’ signboard. If you can’t read Arabic, it’s the hotel next to 'Tiwi Omantel Telephone Exchange’ on Google Maps.

Fantastic place, spacious room with a comfy bed, clean bathroom, phenomenal balcony to watch the sunrise. Comfy communal area to meet other travelers (has fridge, tea, kitchen etc) Strong wifi and clear&responsive communication. I booked last minute, and everything worked out great. It was easy to find, staff was on point and helpful. Parking spaces in front of the door. The location is brilliant. 6 minutes walk to the beginning of the Wadi Shab trail. (I went at 6am and got back by 9:30 - enough time for a shower to head on daisy fresh)

We had a amazing stay ! The hotel in itself is gorgeous, tucked in the middle of palmtrees as well as the pool. The room was well decorated and confortable. The staff is amazingly attentionate, kind and helpful. There even is a cute little café in the hôtel to get drinks by the pool or the terrasse.

Facing the beachfront in Sur, Tiwi Pearl features an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace.

The property was located in a beautiful area near the beach and equidistant to Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi, as well as to local restaurants and laundrettes. I had the pleasure of staying in a stunning villa in Fins, Oman, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The villa is perfectly located in the first row facing the beach, offering a magical view of the ocean that left us in awe every day. The villa itself is brand new, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with all the modern facilities one could ask for. Everything was in pristine condition, from the super clean bed sheets and towels to the fully functional appliances, including a dishwasher that was a great effort and time saver. The outdoor terrace was a highlight, providing the perfect spot to relax and soak in the breathtaking scenery. Whether it was morning coffee or an evening under the stars, the ambiance was unique and incomparable. What made our stay even more special was the host. They were exceptionally kind, responsive, and always ready to assist with any request promptly. Overall, this villa is a gem that combines luxury, comfort, and nature’s beauty. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a peaceful seaside escape. I myself will definitely go again 🌊🌴
