Although ranked one star, the hotel is very clean, with very helpful staff, conveniently located close to suque and the beach. The breakfast was very good, very fresh with good coffee, fresh pressed orange juice , omlet, sausages, a small beef burger and vegetables. Hot tosts and jam. Everything yummy and plenty! Very good internet connection. Just a perfect place to explore Sur and its surroundings! The suque is just on the other side of the street but it is very quiet in the rooms.

Fantastic place, spacious room with a comfy bed, clean bathroom, phenomenal balcony to watch the sunrise. Comfy communal area to meet other travelers (has fridge, tea, kitchen etc) Strong wifi and clear&responsive communication. I booked last minute, and everything worked out great. It was easy to find, staff was on point and helpful. Parking spaces in front of the door. The location is brilliant. 6 minutes walk to the beginning of the Wadi Shab trail. (I went at 6am and got back by 9:30 - enough time for a shower to head on daisy fresh)

What is the to say other then Price/quality: very good . Sea view: magnificent We used it as a transit hotel from Wahiba Sands (via Wadi al khalid) to Wadi Shab and served its purpose perfectly. Right next to the road (didn't hear car noise btw perhaps as we had sea view). Spacious room. A restaurant neighbouring the hotel was good (and very affordable as well). Don't expect a 5 star hotel (duh because it isn't). Breakfast is good (considering the price once again). We can absolutely recommend this for the price.

It a quiet port town. It a beautiful little white town. However, compared to the world's famous tourist destinations, it will be a little inferior. But if you travel in Oman, it would be a good candidate.

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see...

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see turtles laying eggs. Walk from the resort to the nesting beach is around 1.5 km wear comfortable shoes. Nothing else to do except turtle watch. Avoid the turtle museum on second floor it's not at all maintained and charges 2 RO ( 5 USD) not worth. Book tents they are good and gives you a camping feeling with comfort of a room.

Small town - not a huge amount to do here, we went for a walk along the beach, looked at the lighthouse, and ate at Zaki restaurant (try the butter chicken). We mainly stayed there to break up the journey between the Bimmah Sinkhole (beautiful and definitely worth a visit!), and Wahiba sands. Wouldn't stay here for longer than one night!

We stopped there on our journey with our bycicles in Oman and really appreciated the kindness and help from the staff, that was very useful to address the few issues we had back then with our bikes, including storing them for a week in their premises. Also the appartment was big enough for the 4 of us and the one giving on the sea is really nice (nice views and quiet). Restaurant below is nice. Overall a good value.

Lovely big room with covered balcony and view. Clean with all the amenities. Located outside of Sur, but just a 10 minute drive in to the town centre. We opted to dine in a local restaurant next door, the food was fab and plentiful, as there was a tour group in and the hotel restaurant was busy. Breakfast choice was good, with fresh eggs available to order.

Excellent, centrally located hotel - ideal for a base when visiting Sur. Very large, spacious and comfortable apartment. Very comfortable bed. Good selection of foods for breakfast buffet. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of car parking space directly outside hotel. Variety of nearby restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff.
