The accomodation was excellent. Upon arrival we were greeted with omani kawa and dates and assisted with our bags to our room. The room was a blast from the past and captured the omani heritage perfectly. Staff were great and food even better.

I took family room and the room size was fantastic, I liked the sofa bed which made it easier for my family, the view was very nice, the breakfast is good.. I think the hotel is under rated

The hotel is very well managed! Viru (the manager) was so kind and accommodating! All the staff, are just the kindest people. Breakfast was delicious and they made it when we were ready to have it (if you want it earlier than 8:30 request the night before). The room is clean and tidy, and so spacious. It had plenty of space to hang clothes, lay out your suitcases and even eat comfortable. The view from the room was beautiful! The mountains are lovely and the swimming p pool is aesthetically pleasing. What excellent value for money! My babies loved the small play area and the little bed. There are wonderfully stunning viewpoints just up the gravel road from the hotel, if you're ready for a small adventure. We'd definitely stay here again. It is the first place that comes up when you're making your way up the mountain, but it is a little far from parks, grocery stores and restaurants (although it has a really nice restaurant and cafe).

Beautiful ambiance, and super welcoming location. Sunset views a dream …. Breakfast was superb and staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms were a deluge and well provisioned for a visiting family; highly recommend a room with a balcony !

It’s better than the pictures. The view is that incredible and there’s entrance to the balcony from both the bedroom & living room. You’re also on the doorstep of one villages walking trial. He has big fluffy blankets, comfortable chairs, and a library of interesting books on Omani forts, geology, and wadis. You could spend a winter here easily. The kitchen is set up in a logical way and is easy to work in. Ahmed himself is very kind and sent his brother to rescue me when I had car trouble on the mountain. A next door neighbor gave me a tour of his rose water distillery. Good vibes in the whole town. Basically, you couldn’t ask for better.
