We had absolutely wonderful stay in this villa. The pool was divine, and the villa itself was breathtaking. Wonderful palce to stay with a lovely view towards the mountain. The owner left us some snacks, which was much appreciated. The Village is truly a gem among the barren mountains. The accommodation offers just enough comfort without spoiling the atmosphere of the place. Let's hope we manage to keep this balance. What we liked: - Pleasant covered terrace with perfect views of terraced fields, surrounding mountains - Guide books, information material on attractions in the area - Friendly staff and hosts with plenty of advice and ideas to help you relax. - A hearty Omani/Indian breakfast on the terrace. - On the day of our arrival, a very tasty, hearty dinner was prepared on request - The road from Nizwa is really bumpy, (4x4 off-road vehicle mandatory), but that is part of the adventure. - A small canyon is easily accessible in the immediate vicinity of the village.
