The place was cozy and perfectly sized for a family of size 6-7. The place was clean, well maintained and well within the reach of a grocery store, tyre inflation services and even a small supermarket nearby. You can simply walk up 50 meters to start experiencing the world of Sand right in front of you and climb as much as your feet and lungs will support. Kids loved the swimming pool. We expected the pool water to be very cold in the morning considering the outside temperature. But to our surprize it was at a very much comfortable temperature to take a dip in. The facility of a projector and a projection screen up on the terrace was very convenient to experience an open air movie through the laptop. Rooms were comfortably big, clean and well equipped with all things necessary to spend the time. There is a kitchen outside which is convenient to cook during the evening. Even the barbeque setup is well equipped and a washing machine as well. In the living room there is a microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator. So it felt almost like being at home. And not to forget the staff which makes this place to comfortable for the guests. Hats off to their zeal to help us out.

Staying at this desert resort was truly one of my best travel experiences to date. It far exceeded my expectations in every way. The owners, Salim and Lenin, were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. If you are planning a trip to the Omani desert, I highly recommend this camp—I will definitely be returning! The location is peaceful, isolated, and offers a genuine feeling of being out in the wild. One piece of honest advice: arrive with an empty stomach! Between the welcoming coffee, the delicious dinner, and the freshly prepared breakfast, the food is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Amazing location, amazing experience. The owner Mr. Obaid was very friendly and provided all the support and shared knowledge about the Bedouin people. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset on the dunes, rode camels, did dune bashing, kids milked goats and camels. The storytelling by the campfire was unforgettable. The accommodation is very basic - a tent, but nice. Immediately after sunset it cooled down so it was great to sleep in the tent and listen to absolute silence. Need a 4x4 to get to the camp. If you have one it is easy to navigate and cannot get lost.

Small campsite, which was great as our group had it to ourselves. Visited in November 2025, and all the facilities were brand new. Hamzu was an excellent host and provided everything we needed, including delicious brought in meals. Beds were very comfortable. Location is quite close to the Al Rama village, just a short journey into the dunes, but still far away to provide stunning views from the campsite and the dune just above it. Great elevated common eating area, common tent for socializing, and fire pit area.

The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The dinner was abundant and absolutely delicious. We also joined the sunset tour, which was beautiful and peaceful — a real highlight of the trip. The camp is located in the middle of the desert, far from any roads, making it feel wonderfully quiet and authentic. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, a fantastic stay that we would highly recommend!

Our stay was an incredible experience of complete serenity, a perfect break from the world in total isolation and peace. A huge highlight was the exceptional kindness and hospitality of Khaled, whose warm welcome made the entire trip special.
