We could see the cows in the paddock when we arrived and even from the lounge area and some of the bedroom windows. The area is also quaint and quiet with great sunset views. The place has everything you need for a short stay and a short drive from Hobbiton and the Blue Springs.

We had a fabulous stay. The pod, as my husband said, had everything we needed, and nothing we didn't. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable in the accommodation and in the garden area. The bird song in the morning was incredible to wake up to. It was all spotlessly clean and tidy with lovely touches, and as described on booking.com It was also a good base for visiting Hobbiton and the surrounding area. We would thoroughly recommend

It has everything like home. We definitely stayed there if we had more days. All was new and clean. Loved everything. Cozy two electric blankets, comfortable sofa and huge streaming TV, and large kitchen, bath and bathroom. My brother told me this is the best place for last 9days.

Everything. Very nice, modern, well furnished and equiped apartment with nice kitchen and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh home made bread, house eggs, home made jogurt was fabulous and fruits from the garden, milk and orange juice was on the fridge and home made cookies were absolutely delicious. I’m coffee lover so I appreciated nesspresso machine with milk steamer (fresh milk was available in the fridge ). I was also very nicely suprised with dyson hairdryer which you can’t see even in the most luxurious hotel. Moreover Kylie (host) was very nice, let our dauther to play in their garden, she let her feed her chickens and ship and let us to take some fruits from her garden. We stayed just for one night, but it was great stay and when we’ll come back to New Zealand we’ll definitely stay here again. Absolutely recommend Matamata country B&B 👍
