I had an amazing stay at Distinction Hotel, Rotorua! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. The facilities were top-notch, and the kids especially loved spending time in the pool. The included breakfast was outstanding—so much variety and everything was delicious! Our room was quiet, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend Distinction Hotel, Rotorua, and would definitely stay here again.

The location was quiet but close to everything we needed. The room had a great view, but I think we were just lucky with that, as most of the hotel doesnt face the geyers. Parking was the easiest and it was free.

The hotel is recently renovated. They also sent a follow-up message to know the estimated time of our arrival. Easy check-in, Deepak explained everything to us. The room was spotlessly clean and came with everything, including a new mattress, an LG smart TV, and a cooktop. Everything we needed for almost a week. There is a guest laundry facility (washing machine, tumble dryer) available for free, which was extremely useful. It was fully booked, yet it was still extremely quiet. We haven't heard the neighbours at all. The location is fantastic, close to everything, and literally next to Te Puia, which is a must-do activity there (there is also a night show). The Polynesian Spa, Skyline, Mitai Maori Village, Zorb, etc., are all within a 10-15 minute drive. I read the reviews before our trip, and I was worried a lot; however, the majority of them are not entirely true... Of course, if someone wants to complain, they will find a reason to do so, but be realistic... The pool is not heated, and so what??? People go to the spa for a reason, not just to sit in the hotel pool... And so on....
