The location was amazing. Out in the sticks and being woken up by nature was amazing! We travelled from Auckland, so to only be an hour away but feel like you’re a million miles away was a great feeling. Āwhitu and Waiuku just a short drive away to spend the day at beaches or on the Glenbrook train are lovely. This accomodation was a great stop over spot to sleep and get ready for the day ahead. Shower pressure is great and bed is nice and comfy. As a group of three we also used the sofa bed, which was lovely and comfortable to sleep in! Even with three other units and the main house close by, we couldn’t hear a peep from them. a truly peaceful and tranquil area to get out of the city life! Thank you to the hosts for helping us with our cooking dilemma, without it we wouldn’t have been able to stay! your hospitality did not go unnoticed and we are so grateful! ☺️

Handy to the airport and great being able to leave the car there while we were away. Bus picked us up at the door and I presume will be just as easy to connect with at the airport, on our return.
Staff were excellent and very helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was well priced and very nice.
Room was large, with tea/coffee etc., but extremely old and badly in need of upgrading. Didn’t have any problems with the shower, plenty of hot water and good pressure. Would we stay again, probably not.
