Very comfortable bed, welcoming hosts, nice views over the countryside, loved the spa. Really enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast with bird song in the bush next to the room. Simple breakfast supplies of cereal, toast, plenty fruit and yoghurt. And even a little bottle of wine and beer plus juice which we didn't have but appreciated them being supplied if wanted. Friendly dog!

This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. Location was great! Close to the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and the other associated tours. Reception and all staff very friendly. We needed an ice pack and they lent us not only one, but two with some towels as well. They gave us a late check out when we asked which was nice! Also walked us to our room and showed us which parking space was ours on arrival.

This BNB was just as it said charming and beautifully presented, Loved been able to have a hot cup of coffee and tea. It was super comfortable and they were very friendly and helpful. Left around 6am but wish I could of stayed longer and had a longer sleep in that comfortable bed.

The Food & restaurants were fantastic.

The Food & restaurants were fantastic. Te Kuiti was very central to many of the sightseeing activities like the world famous Waitomo Caves & Pio Pio, where many scenes for the 'academy award winning movie ' by Peter Jackson, "Lord of the Rings' were filmed. Only a stone throw away from Matamata, where the 'Hobbiton movies' were made!

This is a farming commercial area close to the Waitomo Caves...

This is a farming commercial area close to the Waitomo Caves and cave worms tour. The town is basically two main roads with a few restaurants, stores, supermarket and other services. There is a train stop. We did not use the train for travel. It is only 15 minutes to Waitomo Caves and a good place to start exploring the cliffs along the Pacific Ocean further south.

Cool little township with lots of yummy eateries, shopping & supermarkets. A few memorabilia statues to get pix with. The information centre is very helpful & informative with souvenir Nic Nacs to purchase as well.

The Waitomo Caves is a must-see, and there are other attractions close by. We grabbed lunch at the Waitomo General Store which is more than just a store.The Cafe and menu selection is amazing and very reasonably priced. Cassandra and her team are a friendly bunch and super efficient.

The garden at the cottage was amazing to explore. Te Kuiti has a fantastic Indian Takeaway with a wide range of menu options including a traditional Chicken Tikka Marsala and a toandoor oven to make Naan. Only problem was that we arrived on a weekend and a lot of restaurants nad safes were closed and no shops open (this is normal in New Zealand country areas but not where we come from in Australia). Ladies in the inforamtion centre were very helpful.

The food supplied for breakfast was great - bacon and fresh eggs plus cereal and fruit juice - and the lovely touch of fresh baking! Not that far from Te Kuiti but very close to the Taumarunui highway if you were travelling that way. Very highly recommended!! The gardens were the highlight of the stay - like a small arboretum. Thank you Jill!

Spot,less rooms. Plenty of towels. A bonus was the sandwiches and cake and apple in the fridge. Staff were very friendly. The views were beautiful. Shame the restaurant balcony wasn't on the sunny side. The centre if town has only one bar so the fact that the hotel was a bit of a walk we found the bar there quite acceptable
