Very cute tiny house set in a rural setting very close to Taumarunui. The deck is sunny and private, and the wood fired hot tub is a lovely addition. While the interior is small, the connecting indoor/outdoor area is roomy and keeps lovely and warm with the heater. A lovely place to stop for a night, and the owner is very attentive and responsive.

Our host, Chris and Scott, designed their home so beautifully and are so welcoming to everyone. Like European country deco on the high end side and with lotsa charming pieces. We had a mini united nation of guests. Everyone totally enjoyed ourselves when we set around dinner, not wanting to leave. We were total strangers before. Extremely enjoyable! The gardens were spectacular and so immaculate. I cant imagine the amount of work they put in. We also love Grayson and Katy (dogs) and Betz ( cat). Even they welcomed us with open arms.

Beautiful cottage, situated in a stunning garden. The cottage has a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and open plan bedroom/lounge and dining area, as well as veranda seating and a patio area. The spa pool was enjoyable to relax in at the end of a busy day. Breakfast is cooked to order and the fridge is well stocked with nibbles and drinks. This was a relaxing one night stop on my journey, and would make for a beautiful romantic getaway. The cottage is a short drive into town and is handy to the forgotten world highway (SH43) and the attractions on that route.
