Breafast came in a basket and there was enough for us to use for both mornings. The bed was very comfy and warm. The hosts were welcoming and asked if we had all that we needed, which we did. We also had dinner with our hosts, a lovely home cooked meal, during which we spent the time chatting. We loved the gardens, which was an unexpected surprise as we booked on location, rather than for any other reason. We have told all our friends about it, and would love to go there again.

An extraordinary host, who really made us feel welcome. Spacious and clean room, direct access to garden and being the only guest (as there is only a single room to rent) made it an excellent stay. Not to mention the tasty breakfast. Can only recommend this B&B!

Everything! Amazing location, just 15 minutes from Taranaki mountain. The room was very comfy with the best shwer room and nice terrace with perfect view. Trish and her husbend are very nice and welcoming.

We stayed at this motel just for a night travelling through. I wish we could have stayed for longer! the room was so clean and comfortable and spacious. And while it is on a fairly busy road there was no noise once you were in the room. The only noise was the train that ran along the back of the property but this was a bonus for us and was loved by our kids. definitely recommend :-)

It was amazing. Because we were arriving late, the receptionist call us to explain how to get the key during the night. The room was comfortable and big enough for two. The kitchen has all the things necessaries. Very clean. We will go back.

Jarene's property is immaculate, comfortable and peaceful . We had a clear view of Mt. Taranaki. The property is in short driving distance to Mt. Taranaki Visitor centre and also to start of York Road entrance to the national park and other amenities. There were really nice touches in our whole stay. Jarene and Shaun are great hosts , very friendly and made our stay very comfortable.
