Mel was very friendly and welcoming. She had prepared a lovely breakfast with herbs from her garden. We had a lovely chat with Mel, and she gave us some great insight about our trip North. When we had a chat with Mel we got to know that Mel has been spending time renovating the house, she had done a great job. The home looks phenomenal, it is unique and has a very warm vibe. We had a very comfortable stay.

i like the concept. it’s comfortable i stay one bedroom apartment, it’s nice. other type of room with shared bathroom was good too, have a few bathroom outside, it’s clean, and it have a shared kitchen and dining room downstair.

This is a stunningly located property in beautiful surroundings, with a beautiful garden, and Mike and Julie are excellent, friendly hosts. Plenty of breakfast choice in the barn's kitchen. You can feed the alpacas when you've finished feeding yourself. This was the one place in New Zealand we thought worth visiting the country again for. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This is a superb cottage close to one of the beaches in Timaru. The cottage is very well appointed, very spacious, and has everything we needed. The location is excellent, with a great sea view, and sunrise views, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the excellent shower and the fireplace!
