This is exquisitely beautiful accommodation with all the creature comforts. The claw bath and salts was an absolute highlight along with the outdoor balcony with views along the street - enjoyed all the more with the complimentary wine and cheese on arrival. The rooms and beds are gloriously spacious and comfortable. I also hadn't appreciated that breakfast was included in our booking so this was a lovely bonus. Julienne and her team bent over backwards to ensure we enjoyed a wonderful stay. And this really was a wonderful stay. Thank you sincerely!!!

We stayed unfortunately only 1 night in this apartment. It was one of the best we stayed in during our 6 week long trip. Everything we could think of was there. Very good location in the center. Good free WI-Fi. We had no communication with the owners except for the (automatic)message we received when booking. However everything turned out to work fine. The free parking in the yard was a bonus.

Super adorable place to stay! The decoration is full of thoughtful details, and I couldn’t stop saying “wow” the moment I walked in — everything was just so cute. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and you can even see the mountains from nearby. The yard is large with plenty of seating areas to relax, and their cat is absolutely adorable too. I really enjoyed my stay here. Highly recommended!

Nice place to relax before heading onto Marlborough Sounds. Had one overcast/rainy afternoon but otherwise good weather in November.

We had only 1 night in Picton because the road had been cut...

We had only 1 night in Picton because the road had been cut by wild weather and bushfires. No reduction in price was offered. We had hoped to spend a day in Nelson, but did not have time. The Picton area is very picturesque, and well worth visiting.

Picton is a beautiful place on a sunny day or the warmer months. There's plenty to do if you like the outdoors. It's very kid friendly with a great wee water park and playground. It's easily walkable with some great restaurants and Cafe's. If your a pizza fan then Scoozi is a must.

We were there for the annual Marina 2 Marina race which is a fun event to take part in. Picton is a nice place to visit so not just the town where you get the ferry to Wellington - it's way more than that! Good range of shops and restaurants to look at, great playground on the foreshore for the kids and a nice place to have lunch and enjoy the stunning view of the harbour. Plenty of boat cruise options that take you around the sounds and some good walks to do around the area.

Must visit the beautiful Raukura Gallery, amazing artwork and NZ keepsakes to take home! Super helpful and friendly owner in Ruth too... nothing is too much of a problem for her. Very knowledgable too.

While many will only see Picton as a quick stopover between...

While many will only see Picton as a quick stopover between the North and South Islands it is really worth spending a little more time there. It is a lovely little town with great scenery, wonderful access to Queen Charlotte Sound and good food, shopping and friendly people.

Went there during the school holiday, everything was great, especially the location, the fantastic view and surprisingly the bed and pillows. So comfy! Felt like sleeping in a 5 star hotel. But definitely the highlight was the view and the location of the bay. When the tide was low, the kids enjoyed exploring the bay and the small stream. The massive backyard was a good place for them to run around too. Although abit dated, but very well maintained and clean. Will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Although in the center of Picton, it was quite. We could walk in all directions to admire the beauty of the place. Many good restaurants a few minutes from the Motel. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
