The room was really good, more than one bed, the bathroom was also very clean. One of the great extra's of the stay was chilling in the hot tub with a perfect view over the mountains, there are two hot tubs each has it own space so you feel yourself really comfy.

So beautiful and peaceful. Relaxed little town with plenty of great restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops to choose from lovely walks on the Lakeshore. so clean and well maintained, we had four nights here and it was not enough, we were very sad to leave.

Wanaka is gorgeous, peaceful, so quiet...and yet so many...

Wanaka is gorgeous, peaceful, so quiet...and yet so many things to do. So many hikes. Water sports. Amazing restaurants, with plenty of choices for vegetarians (and even vegans). Easy to get around. Easy to park. Community events. So far, our favorite place in New Zealand.

Beautiful lake and mountain views.

Beautiful lake and mountain views. It’s an LONG winding mountain road from Queenstown…you wouldn’t want to be commuting back and forth from there (like I thought we were going to do!) Ate dinner at a fabulous Indian and Nepalese restaurant just back from the main road (top ranking restaurant on Trip Advisor). The tree in the lake was a bit of a funny “tourist attraction!”

Wanaka is such a beautiful town ,personally it's my favourite town in the south Island and second favourite town in New Zealand! The lake and view of the mountains from the lake are just beautiful. Lots to do around Wanaka too. I would highly recommend Wanaka to anyone wanting to visit.

We were in Wanaka to hike French Ridge.

We were in Wanaka to hike French Ridge. Unfortunately, the snow line was too low and deep, so we made the call to turn back. It was a 30km day, but we loved being in Mt Aspiring National Park. The following day we hiked Mt Isthmus, a definite leg workout but the views made it worthwhile. Some of our party then took a dip in Lake Wanaka to ease the muscles! There are plenty of food options and bars too within easy reach to suit all pockets. Such a fabulous part of the country.

Very Pretty,lots of places to have a coffee or drinks,enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view,also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.

The location was excellent, offering a lovely view of the lake from the balcony, which was truly exceptional. The facilities were satisfactory. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, and there is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel where meals can be enjoyed. Our television was unfortunately not working upon our arrival, and the staff kindly provided us with a voucher for restaurant as compensation.

Great value for money, there was a washing machine and drier included which was really valuable for us as we were mostly in a campervan but just wanted a luxury indoor night. Super close to Wanaka. An awesome base for a family if its in your budget. Clean but not pretentious. Well stocked kitchen.
