Our stay was fantastic. The house was very well acclimatized, cozy, and beautifully decorated with great taste. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. It’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Lovely spot in the heart of the Waikato. A perfect wee cottage with an extraordinarily comfortable bed. I deeply appreciated the high-quality linen sheets and the farm-fresh eggs provided for breakfast were a delicious touch.

This was one of the loveliest bnb’s we stayed at on our trip to the north Island. We enjoyed our home made stewed rhubarb with some yoghurt and muesli while enjoying it on the deck outside the room. It was a lovely bed and comfy cozy through the night! The owner was accomodating for us and had a blind fixed just after we arrived which we weren’t too fussed about but nice to be taken care of. Thank you so much for our stay, the view of the garden was nice to wake up to and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay! ☺️

Friendly place good range of cafes etc liked the Kiwiana and hanging baskets . Town made an effort . Close to Waitomo Caves and enroute to Hamilton . Ate at Jasmihes Thai picked up picnic lunch at Fat Kiwi . Got supplies from Woolworths Countdown

We loved walking around the main street checking out the Kiwiana displays. The Ed Hillary Walkway was great with so much information to read and objects to remember growing up in NZ. Railway Station worth a look and a coffee

Although this is a small country town it had all the conveniences we needed such as a Countdown, restaurants, cafes, great little unique shops, the kiwi house, green spaces, good public toilets, a big laundromat, take aways etc. Also very close to the Waitomo Caves, which is very handy.

We loved everything about our stay.

We loved everything about our stay. We arrived late at night and the room was waiting for us with the cosy warm light on so we knew exactly where to go in the dark. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and big and the breakfast was delicious. I can not think of anything should have been better, we were 100% satisfied and would love to stay longer or come back.

Loved the location, facilities, breakfast and welcoming host. It was perfect for our overnight stay and we really should have stayed a second night. The cabin is cute, well appointed and has a little deck with outdoor table & chairs. It was slightly ‘tight’ for room with our big traveling cases but we made it work.

Absolutely gorgeous place - lovely view, relaxing garden, beautifully finished rooms with super comfy beds. Friendly host and even a gorgeous cat who welcomes you (and will come for a snuggle in your room if you want). Great proximity to Waitomo caves and some other fun places to visit as well as various food options. Highly recommend a stay here!

Tasty things offered for breakfast and generous amounts 😃 Friendly and helpful hosts - they shared information about the area and clearly wanted to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation was in a good position with views over farmland and set in a pretty garden. Handy for the town of Otorohanga and easy access to places of interest

The motel is a bit older but all very clean. It was a bit stuffy when we arrived and smelled of cleaning - after opening the windows for a while it was all right. They gave us proper milk and the host was very friendly. It would be good to open the windows before the guest arrive.
