If you are in the area, then make sure you stay at Paheke Lodge. It's a wonderful heritage property with loads of character and a beautiful garden. The owners are really helpful and friendly, and provide a fabulous freshly made healthy breakfast. The stewed plums, picked from the garden, are just amazing. You won't regret staying here.

It is a rare and beautifully executed blend of history and modern living. The manager was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and supportive, which made the experience even more memorable. This stay far exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates heritage, character, and the chance to experience what a classic stay in the early 1900s might have felt like, elevated to modern standards.

Very handy to town centre. Very private. Wake up to the bird singing. Lovethe fruit trees around. This is a pet-friendly accommodation, which is hard to find. The chalet is excellent.

Great location, very clean, everything I needed was there. Great nature view from the room. Close to a gastro pub. Beautiful lounge, kitchen can be used, very practical.

Beautiful location, friendly and kind manager. Our favourite motel during our NZ travels. Spacious family unit with 2 king beds and two single beds gave us plenty of space. Kids used the swimming pool in "winter" and were very happy.
