We are absolutely thrilled to have discovered a genuine Canadian-style Lodge here in New Zealand! The owners' idea of sharing the history of Yellowstone National Park in the United States with guests was absolutely delightful. The enthusiasm and hospitality of the owners, ready to welcome both international and national guests with such an fascinating concept, truly touched our hearts. The tranquility and beauty of the place are incredible, just like the hosts, Nick and Julie, who took the time to make us feel like we were among friends at home. The cleanliness and design of the spaces are unmatched! The breathtaking views and the vast spaces at your disposal are a real treat for the eyes. The Lodge is located within a private park, with easy walks for everyone to enjoy. The fresh air and the relaxation in front of a real Canadian fireplace complete the day perfectly. The quality/price ratio is truly lower than what the property and the owners themselves offer. If you are in the area, then make sure you stay at Paheke Lodge. It's a wonderful heritage property with loads of character and a beautiful garden. The owners are really helpful and friendly, and provide a fabulous freshly made healthy breakfast. The stewed plums, picked from the garden, are just amazing. You won't regret staying here.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and modern inside, with lots of character. The quiet, peaceful surroundings were fantastic. There was a gorgeous garden and there were ponds and bridges, which were fabulous for taking photos. There was a sauna, as well as an outdoor cold water swimming pool and even a jacuzzi too! The outdoor seating area was amasing!

The hostess and host were so kind and welcoming! The B&B was beautifully situated in between an orchard and a lovely garden. The tips for what to visit in the area, recommended to us by the hostess, were really good and worth visiting! The fireplace, tennis court and hot tub just completed our stay entirely. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to everyone!

The views from the room were amazing! We were living in the tree tops! The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a great shower room. The kitchen area was well-equipped and we were able to make our breakfast at our leisure and to sit looking at another amazing view. We had a wonderful stay with Richard and are already booked to return.

Just 10 minutes' walk from the Kerikeri River and set amongst gardens, the peaceful Colonial House Motel boasts free unlimited WiFi, Netflix and 50+ TV channels and a saltwater pool.
