Fantastic little studio. Every detail was thought out. The.bed was really comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. 10 min walk to the beach, free parking outside. Felt very private. Lovely note from host and little touches like choccie and milk in the fridge. There is a microwave and kettle with bowls and cutlery.

Originally from the mount but have lived in a small rural town for the past 5years so I did not like the traffic, roads or crowds of people. With all that aside there was plenty of beaches to explore and ample parking. Bustling night life with lots of options for eating and drinking. Make sure to take an umbrella or shelter for the beach and be sure to have it weighed down as the wind can take it away

We are frequent visitors to Mount Maunganui, though usually day-trippers, and can thoroughly recommend the region, irrespective of the season. Summer is the busiest time of the year when the focus is on the beaches, watersports, outdoor markets and festivals, and of course the vibrant bar and restaurant scene, all within easy walking distance. But other seasons have their bonuses too. Autumn and winter can offer the same activities, but without the crowds, and the weather can be just as good, but without the heat.

Vibrant cafe and bar scene, good restaurants, walking distance to nice shopping strip. Recommend SpongeDrop for coffee and cake. Good surfing and swimming beach, great boardwalk. Hot springs very nice.

Great beach.

Great beach. Even though it was raining this trip, the beach is amazing. Good walk around and up the Mount. Great views from the top even in poor weather Fabulous shopping Went to Solero for dinner - yummy sharing plates. There are many good places to choose from for eating. Saturday morning 7am and the beach is humming - people getting coffee, breakfast at the cafes or walking/surfing/running/cycling. Very inspiring to be around if you like to be active or just to watch others be active!

Stunning - we had our four-legged Princess so couldn't go on the main beaches - but from Logan Road Beach Access we had stunning views of the Mount, ships coming in and out, and Motiti Island. Although we don't have young children, we could appreciate the free use of sand toys at most access points. Also the seating, board-walks, handrails, and toilets are outstanding.

Our stay was wonderful as per usual. We have booked at The Reef Beachfront apartments multiple times and keep coming back because its just so good!
