But alas, does it pass the Jacinda imposed MIQ test? Having spent time in Jacinda Jail a few years back, I now look at hotels/motels completely differently in that - could I stay here in self-isolation for two entire weeks? While this property would not be permitted as an MIQ site because Jacinda would assume guests might mingle and it was imperative that we all be under army guard (so that was fun!) so as not to touch even though we were all jammed in an aircraft tube for 12 hours plus prior to arrival into NZ and then boarded onto a crowded bus to get to said MIQ site, had it been permitted, it would have been a perfect spot... Room #7 is bright and spacious and sunny in the afternoon and overall just has a good vibe. So yes, you can stay here for two weeks and not go mad.

Beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Centrally located, and handy for restaurants and activities. Host was great. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend to friends and family.

We love the hold stayed there. The cat 🐈 loves the cat treats the owner had in the kitchen area for us to give to it. The price included eggs and bacon and bread. And homemade jars, tea, and coffee also jug of milk. Also, DVD to watch.

Our own small house (studio) in a corner of the beautiful garden. The house was well furnished and equipped, and very clean. The details of the house were well thought out so that the space was well utilized. Access to garden furniture and grill. We loved the 2 dogs, the 3 cats and the chickens. The included breakfast was excellent with homemade bread and ditto jams. The host couple is very kind and accommodating. We received useful tips and information. We spent four nights but could easily have stayed longer.

The owner provided fresh eggs from her own chickens, fresh milk from the farm next door, home made jam and one of the other residents gave me some bread. Breakfast was therefore great. The owner also gave me some tangerines from her trees when I left. Very rural, no shops nearby so take some supplies with you. If you like peace and tranquility , gove value and friendly host , this is it.
